Anthony Joshua vs Tyson Fury who wins?

Fury schools him.

Fury will stand in front of him with his hands behind his back, switching from southpaw to orthodox Jabbing AJ, leaning on him ect, AJ will gas after 4 rounds and Fury will finish him.

 

If it was the Fury of the Wlad fight then he gives Joshua nightmares.

But it's a big If if we ever see that Fury again.

The size of him now and he's on the nose powder.

I think stylistically Tyson is a nightmare for Joshua. However, Joshua has the equaliser. It's why this fight has to be made at some point.

I would favour Fury all day long if he's anything like his best. But if AJ gets inside and starts whaling away, goodnight.

In other words, I can't pick em.

 

Fury wins, I've always said that Joshua will struggle against a mobile opponent and Fury with his height and surprising agility is a tough style match up for him.

But I do think Joshua will be a tougher fight for Fury than Wlad. He's more likely to pressure Fury, doesn't need to be set as much to let his hands go like Wlad and because he can counter punch will be dangerous even when Fury is allowed to get off first.

Also Joshua is still improving, a year from now who knows what Fury will have to deal with even if he can get back into the same shape as the Wlad fight.

 

Fury makes AJ look awful round after round and totally schools him in a pig ugly fight. But AJ will get him. Maybe.

 

Fury has a long way to go to get back any level of form while Joshua is riding the crest of a wave and super confident. Fury lost momentum now

Think Tyson has all the tools on his day to beat him. Including the mind games in the build up

 

Fury has to get his license back, fight in a warm up/comeback match, wait for AJ to get his mandatory(Fury maybe one) and a VK rematch and then Fury might have to fight his contracted rematch with an even older VK. AJ is at the level where he'll be fighting at most twice a year if he gets even match-ups.
It could be at minimum two-three years before we see Fury V AJ. With their being two or three 4 month windows available for it to be held in a UK Football Stadium - I doubt Eddie Hearn will be as reckless again about holding a Fight in an open Stadium in April again-. Unless it's a Millennium Stadium roof closed Fight.
And who knows what will happen by then AJ will be in his 30's(as will Tyson) and be even better than today . Fury may have beaten his demons and be back or better than he was versus Klitchko. Both fighters experience V Klitchko will have significantly improved their Ring Craft and by then may have fought him twice.
I belive the Klitchko AJ fought was hungrier and more determined than the one Fury fought.
And if either rematch Klitchko it will be one that got significantly aged last week.
The best way to ensure a best V best fight is to arrange a Super Six/Eight like the Super Middleweights did.
With the current NO 1's and two split in to each section of a draw. Tyson with a few wins should be back into the top three Heavyweights. With a possible seven top fights over a three year period it could command a £500,000,000 Rights deal with a £250,000,000 final.

 

The tactics Fury applied in that Wlad fight, and in the build up were a stroke of genius and it worked and he won. Those tactics work on Wlad, im not sure if they get the same reaction against any other top heavyweight.

Fury will win, he's bigger, stronger, faster footwork and overall a better boxer.

The only thing AJ has on him is punch power.

I can envision Fury busting him up and stopping him late but a safe bet is Fury wide UD.

 

Fury doesn't really have a knockout punch. He could out point Joshua easy, however, I really don't think he could keep Joshua off him for 12 rounds. Cunningham floored him, Joshua will walk him down, hurt him and stop him in within 9 rounds.

 

Joshua walks him down and knocks him out. If Steve Cunningham can put him on his ass, AJ can knock him cold.

Fury looked good against Wlad, but I'm not convinced that was the same Wlad we saw against Joshua. People talk about Fury as if he's suddenly the heavyweight Floyd Mayweather, but conveniently forget he's been heavily decked by low level opposition and arguably lost against John McDermott.

Fury doesnt hit hard enough and isn't elusive enough to beat AJ.
