Anthony Joshua vs Vitali Klitschko

Right now I'd see Vitali wearing AJ down. AJ went life and death with a past it Wlad. Wlad was technically better, but Vitali was tougher and had a better chin, especially in his prime. After seeing AJ get his chin cracked by Ruiz I also could see Vitali making a mess of AJ's face by the end of the fight. Would be a great fight though. An ATG fight.

 

Vitali is all wrong for Joshua. Highly skilled, iron jawed and ruthless.

Agreed, but where I think he is in hypothetical h2h match ups at heavyweight is within ATG range. Time will tell if that pans out or not.

 

Vitali by ko but it would be the hardest fight of his career. Joshua would definitely do well the first half but Vitali’s durability, work rate, and power get him the win in the mid to late rounds

Joshua would struggle because Vitali would take his power no problem. Comes down to a boxing match. I think Vitali is a better boxer than Wlad, and would make the bodybuilder look like Ronnie Coleman in that boxing ring!

 

Vitali would walk right through Joshua and stop him with a brutal KO.

This would be over within 5 rounds

 

Action packed first 3 rounds but Joshua would soon run out of ideas and start eating that hard jab and when Anthony tries like he always does mid fight then vitali would up it and stop him. I'd see it being a ref stoppage on the ropes getting battered. He couldnt hurt vitali

 

Vitali would do what he always did which is grind Joshua down and stop him likely via TKO in the 8th to 10th round.

Vitali by KO. If AJ beats Fury then I'll be back to reevaluate my pick. Not because Fury and Vitali have similar styles but because it'll take something special for AJ to beat Fury and likewise to beat Vitali.
