Probably mid round KO for Vitali but I wouldn't be at all surprised in this one if he got him out of there before the 5th
Joshua would have been defeated already at the staredown when, with teary eyes and a trembling voice, he asks Vitali why are you looking at me? Vitali would literally eat him with his eyes...
^This^ This content is protected ^This^ AJ would be destroyed mentally first and then physically. P.S. AJ is not Lewis
I missed this thread. Pleasantly surprised the support Vitali got in 2021, although that was after Ruiz TKOd AJ. Even AJs careful win in Ruiz II didn't help posters views of AJ in this hypothetical match up. Views are the same in 2023 b/c AJ has done nothing to change peoples minds at all. Me? I agree w/ the near unanimous view - Vitali by comfy UD or stoppage. Pre Ruiz AJ might make it interesting... for a while. Post Ruiz AJ... fuhgetaboutit.
Vitali was better than Wlad in my opinion and Joshua barely beat a faded Wlad. Vitali was bigger, better movement, iron chin, better counter puncher, proved he could take better uppercuts than Joshua can dish out and his work rate would have Joshua gassing after 6 rounds. Vitali probably out boxes him then overwhelms a gassed out Joshua and stops him around the 9th.
