    It was 8 years ago since the fight so I thought why not post it. Time flies.

    Wladimir was in tremendous shape for a man of 41 and being out of the ring for something like 17 months ( I think. ) He showed a lot of heart and came close to winning that one.

    It sure does. Was in New York at the time and couldn't find a place that showed it. Tremendous fight, a shame I couldn't catch it live.

    Great fight watched it live just wish Wlad could have pulled it off but alas was too old........ Still did pretty well all things considered

    Still don't know how AJ took that right hand in R6 he deserves a lot of credit for that.

    But yes I was very surprised that Wlad made it so competitive before the fight I thought AJ was going to win by mid round stoppage and brutally but that's not how it turned out at all.

    Wlad got more respect for that one night than anything in his career beforehand.
