Joshua is the cash cow now. Wlad is passing the torch. Time will tell to see if Anthony is the truth. Everybody get ready Fury and Wilder next.

Dont rely on the telegraph... They have the same information as us - that the contract is not done but likely will, eddie hearn wants to announce early next week.
With this info, the telegraph just speculate that it's done and adds up the basic figures.

Huge fight this is, really hope it's not a repeat of GGG-Eubank (negotiations).
    Boxing needs this badly.

I think this is Joshua's coming out party. Wlad just can't pull the trigger anymore imo, and Joshua is too explosive, too athletic and too young to let Wlad off the hook like Fury did. I'm not going to count Wlad out but he's going to have to take risks, and if he does that I think Joshua knocks him out.

    Got wlad by ko

Joshua is too slow and too orthodox

Fury Wilder is the fight. I was at Barclay for that confrontation and have felt that is the fight

I can see it being a very slow fight to start. There probably won't be any fireworks until the 5th or 6th but it will be an interesting fight. Wlad's last fight proves that he is an old vet that can't pull the trigger anymore against someone that he is not bigger than.

Shout out to the vets that used to knock cats out in the 90s and 2000s that can't bust a grape anymore in the 2010s.

when that dude knocked him out and he was laying on the ground out cold, I was shocked! That dude had a major reputation like you said, for 1 hitter quitters, and he ended up getting 1 hitter quitted himself. Crazy.

No. This fight will be more like Klits vs Sanders. He is old and cashing out.

Sanders was an aggressive southpaw, and tbh I doubt he hits as hard as Sanders, he lacks Fury's elusive movement, size and speed AJ doesn't pose any new problems to Wlad that he hasn't seen before, maybe he is cashing out but Wlad has too much pride to not attempt to win, you can always cash out and go out on top.

    Interesting fight.

I'm a Wlad fan but he does seem to have slipped since the Pulev fight. Against Jennings his right hand was so slow and lacked snap and the power really was there. And we all know what happened with Fury.

I'm still going with Wlad as I don't believe AJ is the beast he's being made out to be. He's got good power and hand speed for a big guy but he's as upright and erect as a massive spadger, his footwork isn't that good and his chin is a major question.

I think a 70% WK still does him and I hope he does have it left but it's a great fight no matter what.

Does seem like it's almost done. Just needs sanctioning by IBF and to clarify what titles will be on the line. Problems with US TV networks has been resolved, financial terms agreed.

Why do I have to keep saying this? The fight is not officially done. I assume you cannot speak german, because it clearly says 'according the 'the telegraph.' The telegraph just took the risk to announce the fight early relying on the info "it's nearly done and I'm confident it will happen" They know the exact same info as us, but as a news reporter they make it seem as new news

Celebrate when the fight IS ANNOUNCED.
