Good fight. But Joshua aint ready for Wlad. If Whyte had him jelly legged early on , Klitschko will finish him. Wlad won't get caught like he did against Sanders. He's a better defensive fighter, since then. Fury was just very awkward.

It's the same thing I said about Kell Brook and he always impressed me. He is upright and everything you said about AJ and he beat Porter and give him the pizza face and he put up a good fight against GGG because he was not afraid of him. This is the same way I see Joshua. He is not afraid of Wlad.

    True.

From what I can make out after Fury pulled out again it was Wlad who approached AJ in respect to fighting, which makes me wonder if Wlad saw something when AJ went to train with Wlad a while back.

Either way both men deserve credit for making the fight

Excellent fight. I see Joshua winning pretty handily. I mean if Wlad was that scared against a weak hitting Fury what in the world is he going to do when Joshua is throwing powerful bombs at him?

This is a fight I want to see. Have always been a fan of the Klitschko's and if the torch gets passed here I will go out as a fan. Believe this will be a really good one while it lasts. Both have the power to end it at any time. Just don't buy into the "Wlad can't pull the trigger any more" sentiment. The fight with Fury was so herky jerky it was the worst heavyweight fight in memory. Joshua has my respect as he comes to fight and comes to win with power and will. Just think he lacks enough movement and is still a bit green for Wlad's experience. Pulling for Wladimir and will be on the edge of my seat....this is what fights should be like. Doubt if Joshua wins he will sing some stupid ballad in the ring afterward. War Wladimir.

Wlad is 12(8KO)-1(0) this decade with 25 knockdowns of his opponents.
Cotto is 6(6KO)-3(0) this decade with 9 knockdowns of his opponents.
Pacqioua is 11(0)-2 this decade but has scored 12 knockdowns of his opponents who have averaged more than 15lbs heavier than him when they entered the ring, all of which were in his 7th and 8th weight class, and all of which were world title fights.

And Suge Knight has one KO to his record, a TKO over a poser named Vanilla.

    Big fukking man there.

Kind of disappointing the only belt on the line is AJ's own IBF belt?

If there is any belt other than IBF on the line for this fight then I lose any remaining faith I have in boxing.

What's the difference between that and two other guys fighting for a vacant title?

Considering Klitschko was supposed to be getting a rematch vs fury for the titles anyway isn't this the right thing to do?

Because neither guy are in a mandatory position to fight for any of the other titles. If they are free for all to fight for when they become vacant then Ian Lewison and Erkan Teper may as well immediately organise a fight for in two weeks time for the WBO belt before anyone who have heaps at stake get time to carefully manage a fight for it and then get the title.

£15m is a lot of money for a dope dealing punk who's only ko'd some weird toothed can and an out of shape kickboxer. Hearn has to be congratulated, his dad only had Steve Davis and Leyton Orient FC.

    Why?

Do you believe that Andy Ruiz Jr or Johan Duhaupas are more highly rated contenders than are Wlad and Joshua?

Is Hughie Fury vs Ruiz Jr are more worthy title fight?
    Ortiz vs Browne?
    Potvetkin v Stiverne?

Fact is Wladimir Klitschko should have become the #1 rated contender to all 4 organizations the moment that Fury was given the nod in their fight.
    Politics and fighter hate aside......
This is the clear #1/#2 fighting the clear #2-#5.

If the WBO or WBA thought it was worthy of their title, a fan should be thrilled they have come to that conclusion.

Styles make fights. Fury was able to nullify Wlad in a way Joshua won't. 50/50 fight in my opinion.

I also think Wilder Joshua is a 50/50 fight, where as Fury would shut out Wilder.

I then think Joshua would walk through Fury..
