Here comes the crew of AJ fans with their calculus on how a 41 year old, two years out of the ring, dethroned, slower than ever fighter is better than that same fighter as a 39 year old champion.

Don't worry everyone, they did the math on Vlad's personal life, his motivation, his focus, his camp, and his condition. Trust them, the 41 year old version is better. This AJ fan crew is still working out what "styles make fights" means, but they're positive on which version of Klitschko was better.

Beating 2 long standing World Champions in there own back yards as well as still being undefeated is far from pathetic .

The simple fact that the AJ version of Wlad had been inactive for 2 years, while the Fury version of Wlad had fought at least twice a year every single year leading up to the Fury fight, means that they absolutely were not equivalent versions.

There is not a single 39 year old fighter ever that could take a 2 year layoff and return as a 41 year old and still be as good as he was, let alone better.

The 41 year old fighter did not have a suicidal wife at home alone with his newborn child.

Stopped reading when you described Szpillka as a fast, agile slick southpaw.

AJ beat a better prepared and more motivated version of Klitschko.

Wilder was long standing because he was allowed to fight so-so competition for years.

That's objectively what he was regardless of his level (no one thinks he's Usyk). I didn't claim he was an iron chinned KO artist because that would be inaccurate.

It should have been obvious at the time to anyone who knew boxing that Fury beat a better version of Wlad in far more dominant fashion and in more adverse circumstances but to this day they still don't want to give Fury proper credit or admit that they were sucked by Hearn's hype and spin. You'd have thought the beatdown administered by the morbidly obese midget would have made it abundantly clear. The schooling from the cruiserweight should have been totally unnecessary on top of that. But the denial continues.

AJ beat a more motivated Wlad. I think he underestimated Fury, his reputation was very different at that time. Fury was known as the guy who punched himself and was KD by USS. One thing everyone should agree is that the AJ fight was a lot more entertaining for the fans. 2 years older doesn't make a big difference physically and I don't think Wlad had ring rust as he was known for sparring with the very best at the division on a regular basis

Brits have been the most rabid anti-Klitschko during his entire career but after their golden boy Joshua went life and death with a 41 year old Wladimir, they had to change their narrative. A two year fresher Klitschko would have enough in the tank to finish him.

It wasn't supposed to be entertaining, Joshua was expected to destroy Klitschko.
