Joshua himself is expected to fly out to Vegas later this week and will spend some time on holiday there before heading back to begin the next stage of his training camp.

Eddie Hearn has flown out to Las Vegas to discuss the possibility of Anthony Joshua's rematch with Wladimir Klitschko landing in Sin City.

The Matchroom boss was joined by his Head of Boxing Frank Smith and Joshua's manager Freddie Cunningham on the trip as talks progress into staging the money-spinning contest somewhere on the famous strip.

Eddie Hearn visits T mobile arena as he finalises deal on AJ vs Vlad 2. This fight is being reported to be announced soon so it can be promoted alongside May/Mac and GGG/Canelo and talked about on fight night during those fights.. this fight is confirmed to be on both HBO and showtime. No better way to promote a fight than 2 of the biggest cards in boxing.

    UPDATE

Showtime boss Stephen Espinoza says AJ vs Vlad will be announced soon.

"It's no secret we've been salivating about getting him over here and certainly that would be a phenomenal fight," said Espinoza.

"It would be the biggest heavyweight Vegas fight in probably a couple of decades, so we would love to host it.

"That's a massive mega-fight wherever it is. For my money, the fight of the year so far. It was a star-making performance and for many here in the US, it was their introduction to Anthony Joshua.

"It is beginning to whet their appetite for seeing more."

Wlad still hasn't confirmed that he's taking the fight.

Seems like this fight would do better in Los Angeles at Staples Center than in Vegas.

But then you'd rather have your goodbye party in Vegas than LA.

The first fight was great but I'm not really interested in seeing this. I can't see vlad being as determined as he was last time. Joshua ends the fight earlier this time.

Except you won't utter a peep if Wilder fights another Molina or Arreola.. This is still a better fight than ANYTHING Wilder has had in his career.

It's a trash fight and Wlad will probably be 42 years old. ****en hilarious. I'm getting sick of Joshuas phony ass. Wlad retire. Our memory of you was showing great heart in losing. Losing sooner won't ruin your legacy but it could damage you and our last sight of you.

I don't really want to see the fight again either in all honesty, but the fact remains that it's still a much better fight than anything Wilder has been involved with, and I can almost guarantee you that it will be better than his 6th defense that he's soon to announce.

It's a trash fight. He's 42 ****en years old. It's just greed by Hearn and Joshua. It won't even be a ppv fight here. Nobody will buy it. They only know Wlad.

Yet it's still better than anything Wilder has been involved in lol... Nice deflecting. But you like the post announcing Wilders return, even though it's more than likely going to be another farcical defense. Where's your consistency? Oh wait... You have none.
