The odds are simple Joshua a still heavy favorite nothing interesting about it.

Least logical ppl will assume the same thing happens and I call these ppl casual viewers.

The ones on here to assume it will end the same are called wishful thinkers bc no one who really follows the sport more then at least 20 years would go along with that ,not that it should or couldn't happen but logic doesn't change in the history with one fight . lol

I really don’t know what to predict. I could see Joshua not recovering from the loss but at the same time could see him coming back strong.

Is there any evidence to suggest that Ruiz will gas out?

I agree with Dwyer (below). Huge risk of Ruiz doing the exact same thing to Joshua again. Here is Dwyer's video-

AJ supporters are now in the bargaining stage of grief — “Well OK, he lost, but how about if he wins the rematch?”

They’ll get to acceptance. It takes time.

I agree. Ruiz won due to a lucky punch to the temple or behind the ear causing a concussion. Ruiz dominating AJ after the 3rd for the rest of the fight was the result of carelessness from AJ.
What is Ruiz’s chances of hitting another lucky shot causing a concussion? Depends how careless AJ gets.

This. He also needs to focus on winning and not forcing the knockout, since even the best fighters can’t knockout everybody. He seemed almost desperate to get the knockout on Ruiz, which is a bad idea with a durable guy like Ruiz.

This. Joshua kept leaving him wide open and Ruiz capitalized and clipped him. If Joshua had any kind of head movement and upper body movement he wouldn’t have been getting hit with those shots or at least he wouldn’t have been taking the full force of the punches.. McCraken really need to do something about Joshua’s lack of head movement.

Joshua was blowing out of his arse after round one. The man has some deep routed problems. He stopped mid-fight at one point and checked blood coming from his nose. He looked at it like it was alien blood. The man has gone mentally

    100% agree with this.
    I noticed this vs ruiz.
He just wanted the ko which can be a dangerous thing when faced with a proper boxer and counter puncher like ruiz.

I predicted Ruiz would win the first time, he will win the second time. It wasn't a lucky punch, it wasn't a fluke. There's a reason why a whole lot of people who know a hell of alot more about boxing than you think Joshua taking the rematch is a terrible idea. They're right, and it will be. Ruiz has his number, it's as simple as that.

Joshua is -350 and Ruiz +270 so joshua still a strong favourite in the rematch. Makes sense, being completely logical, this could be Lewis-Rahman all over again where Joshua goes in there and ends it.
