Duboi confirmed he slapped him around and knocked him on to the canvas. Joshua never denied it and I've heard from well connected acquaintances who attend his gym who have confirmed the incident.
i saw Dubois say he dropped him, but he would if Warren told him to. although i can definitely see it happening, thats not enough for me to take it as fact.
And he confirmed he slapped him around, basically made a plaything out of him, at just 19 years of age. I'm sure Warren didn't put him up to. He was asked about what had happened and answered accordingly
Its that stupid bc you dont know what you are talking about. You dont NEED to labled an ATG to have proven skill level ..not every boxer reaches a sigificant status to be labled that..there are many boxers who have not become ATG who CLEARLY were dangerous and had skills...Ruddock /Mercer/ Cooney/Morrison/ Golota / Byrd/ Ibeubuchi/ Tua/Briggs/ McCall/ Rahman Etc...etc..Do any of these guys have unproven skills bc they werent ATG's and they too cant be matched with Lewis who some DID fight and gave him a good fight? ..are you really this dense here?
You actually think the Lewis that fought Bruno throwing those awful right hands that got him knocked out by McCall could land those punches on AJ?! AJ is a fast counter puncher a slow fighter like McCall was even able to counter those blows, compare that punching to AJ`s and Wlad`s in their fight and you`re` talking about a different level! Wlad on that night would have easily landed the right that decked AJ on Bruno, AJ would land rights all night on Bruno!
Thanks for the stuff about the reach, I didn`t know that, that would give Lewis a lot of help. I feel that Wlad disguised his rights better than Lewis did and AJ would be able to see Lewis`s shots coming easier and block well, AJ`s left was too low against Wlad though and that could cost him against Lewis.
Bruno had an excellent jab, you're discounting that, Joshua would've had his hands full with Bruno. Anthony Joshua is not that fast, he's stiff and upright, he's not a cute boxer and Lennox had more than enough firepower to end him. And absolutely Lennox would've been able to land on Joshua. Damn near any version of Lennox is not the guy that you'd wanna have a firefight with. Also the right hand that McCall landed on Lennox was perfectly timed down the pipe and was quick. Lennox got up, I have my doubts as to if Joshua would've. What Wlad dropped him with really wasn't that bad and he nearly folded.
A manufactured athlete is still a dangerous one isnt it? And NO you cannot MANUFACTURE an elite boxer...it doesnt work that way....if you boxed you should know this. The talent HAS to be there or work experiance in the fight game early on.. .......WORKING with natural talent isnt manufactured ...like say a Mike Grant who was manufactured and probably who would be better at Basketball ,theres a big differance to what joshua has inside him............
My god the AJ nuthuggers are just as bad as Wlad's huggers. Prime Lewis would Ko AJ under 3 rounds. AJ has been getting dropped by 19 year old sparring partners for god sakes. Watch what Lewis did to Goleta and Grant. AJ is going to be exposed soon. That is one reason he will drop his WBA belt to duck Ortiz. Ortiz will drop AJ like a bad habit.
slow down boy .....i like joshua also but he hasnt even peaked yet / wait 2 to 3 yrs before comparing lennox and joshua but ill say this the joshua that beat wlad would beat lennox who fought ruddock(both guys at 27 yrs of age)
Bruno hardly followed up his jab with a right hand, AJ throws better 1-2`s because he has a better trainer than Bruno had. It would be very difficult for Bruno to out jab AJ because of the difference in reach, you shouldn`t really fight a taller fighter on the outside, you need to get inside and work the body, Bruno didn`t have that kind of savvy! Josua`s combinations are faster than Bruno`s single shot (Frank rarely threw combo`s) Bruno was stiff and upright, Lewis wouldn`t be able to land on AJ without being countered, it`s rare that AJ doesn`t react when punched at, he`s constanly looking for openings that creates pressure. Steward told McCall to practice throwing his rights as Lewis threw his lazy right and that`s exactly what happening, Wlad`s right hand is much more clever than McCall`s, he couldn`t even hit Bruno and AJ has a better defense than Bruno. AJ would have landed more punches on McCall than Lewis did because he`s always aggressive.
I dont know what that means. I know what football legend Kenny Daglish had was natural instinct when playing compared to Keegan who he replaced who needed to practice more, Beckham was another who had less talent than some and stayed behind on training days to practice free kicks and stuff but I fail to see what natural advantage Lewis had over AJ!
