Joshua is the best today, but I think the Olympic judges gifted him gold, and he really hasn't faced anyone really good except for a 41 year Wlad, 1.5 years removed from the game and he was in danger of losing that one.

Can we please wait a bit before saying he would beat Holmes or Tyson. I think Joshua has just an okay chin, and quickly fights dirty or rule bends when hurt. It took him a long time to recover from one punch, and I suspect his stamina needs to be carefully managed in the mid to later rounds.

Let Joshua beat at least 5 or so opponents ranked in the top ten that isn't 41. Then we can have a clearer picture. He should fight Wilder, Parker, and Povetkin and to be honest Povetkin is older now ( the win would still mean something ) , and Wilder and Parker do not stand out as top 1 or 2 competitors that would trouble Tyson or Holmes.

He may have said it, but does he believe it? Holmes had the misfortune of coming at the end of Ali's era and the beginning of Tyson's. Over the yrs he developed a hugh chip on his shoulders and was very defensive. He's made many controversial comments over the yrs. Some were partially true(Cooney only got a title shop because he was white) some were straight out wrong( Marciano couldn't carry his jock strap) So anything he says should be taken with a grain of salt. So sad for a man who is one of the top ten heavys in history.

Tyson didn't even make it to the Olympics so he's one step behind there.

Joshua got dropped by one of the hardest hitting HW's of all time and got up to win, his chin is clearly good enough. He showed more resolve in that one fight than Tyson did in his entire career.

The scary thing is that he's still a relative novice, he's got the attitude and the determination to reign for a very long time IMO.

Why dont u get off all fours and fasten AJ"s zip and drink some geritol get the brain going.joshua is nowhere near as fast as tyson hes nearer bruno.he has taken two serious punches from a 41 yr old wlad and a blubbery dilliian whyte who wouldve been reggie gross level in the 80"s, both punches had him doing a frank bruno-bonecrusher round 10 impersonation...he showed heart with wlad but look at what was in front of him....the most tentative cautious linear hw champ in history and a 41 yr old too...tysons heart against live punchers and finishers like ruddock, bruno, smith is documented....even the old desireless tyson v botha takes joshua out with one shot

Holmes also said back in 2000 lennox lewis was afraid to fight him that lennox said youd beat me with your jab alone.a very bitter anti amiable guy.he sucks up to joshua as AJ shows him respect by calling him asking for advice and giving him props

Way, way to early to say that. Joshua hasn't beaten anyone not a member of AARP.

It's about time you took Tyson's whizzer out of your ass and see the reality for a change. Tyson never came back from being hurt and on the brink of defeat to show his resolve. Funny how you mention Bruno, Big Frank had Tyson reeling like an old drunkard in the first round. Difference is if Joshua did the same he'd be putting Mikey to sleep instead of fighting like an old lady like yourself.

Not sure if you ever seen it but Tex Cobb roasted Larry Holmes and went in on the dropkick. It's hilarious. WARNING: The N word is coming

People forget that Tyson had no heart or stomach for the fight. He was a typical 'bully' persona in the ring. When someone gave Tyson back what he dished out he wilted and choked.
