Let's make a bet. If Fury beats Joshua on the inside I'll send you $200. But if he beats him on the outside or looses other way around
He did actually press up against Chisora in the second half of that fight a lot to use his weight to tire him out.
Yeah I'm not a Fury fanboy and I don't bet, gambling is a fool's game. I highly doubt there'll be much of any inside fighting in that fight.
You want to talk about AJ's inside fighting Then answer me this question - How does he let an old smaller Pulev, Lean on him TWICE? during their bout? trying to evade fighting up close? I'll get a clip.
No, he wasn't clinched up, he was swinging away on the inside. Hitting his body, leaning on him with his head pressed into the shoulder, using tighter hooks and uppercuts. That's called inside fighting.
Because I don't bet. Period. It's a stupid habit to have. It destroys lives and makes even the most normal people behave irrationally.
Thats one definition. Inside fighting can also be swapping hands up close within combination distance. Look it up. You're biased
Inside is also where you can land bent elbow hooks and land combinations and exachange up close. And midrange is where you can land straights and not far enough to land fully extended jabs. Learn boxing
No, I'm not biased, you just don't know your boxing mate. I'm not supporting Fury here, I'm just saying that calling throwing combos at mid range inside fighting is wrong. Doubling down on that when you were corrected only confirms to me that you're just plain stupid. With your logic you'd say Mike Tyson was a pure inside fighter when anyone who paid attention to him called him a mid range fighter. Tyson didn't like inside fighting at all in fact, it was the part of the game that frustrated him most ultimately as he could handle an outside fighter perfectly fine.
Imo Ruiz II was the only fight Joshua has shown to have a maniacal, well studied and tested strategy for 12 rounds because all in that fight had to be perfect. No risks, no mistakes. In the rest of his fights can be said his only one inside game simply was a very strong win wish and tear down any opponent strategy.
Mid range is where you can land any punch basically. Long range is where you land straights primarily. Watch this, this is inside fighting. This content is protected
I'm an actual boxer too, so yeah I actually do learn about boxing every day. It's clear you haven't paid much attention to the finer intricacies of the sport.
