According to everything, the event has been cancelled, but the right moment is waiting for them to announce it, there was probably no search for the opponent, and even if there had been, the opponent would have been found by now.

I'm reading the posts on Twitter and everything somehow indicates that the opponent will be Helenius.

Let's see if Helenius can last through more than 1 semi-punch thrown (Wilder) this time. But not expecting much.

To be fair ringside video that "semi" punch sounded like getting hit with a baseball bat

Chisora would be the best choice of those being seriously considered

Helenius isn't a bad choice all things considered. AJ will knock him out about 90-95% of the time but there is at least SOME danger of Helenius clipping him plus he at least has name recognition.

If Helenius is the opponent, Joshua will knock him out cold in style and that will help him regain his confidence.

A stay busy fight which was a fight nobody wanted to see with Whyte. Isn't going to change to a fight Joshua could lose against someone like Hrgovic.

Would prefer to see Chisora than Helenius. At least Chisora will throw the kitchen sink before succumbing. Helenius will have zero ambition to win.

AJ's rebuild is just as manufactured and boring as his championship reign was. Every single step he makes is met with a billion Eddie Hearn announcement videos or GAD interviews. Absolutely nothing is natural or organic; everything is just some cold, calculated business decision or PR stunt. Tyson Fury might've ducked Usyk for a peydey, but at the very least Fury seems captain of his own ship

I was initially excited about AJ-Wilder, but the more this thing gets talked about, the less I care. This is supposed to be a grudge match between two ex-champions. Instead it's being talked about like it's Ali-Frazier1. Give me a break

I also have absolutely zero interest in the Saudis and their rubbish. Boxing is synonymous with the US and the occasional stadium fight worldwide as far as I'm concerned

Heavyweight has been a plum division since Lennox retired. Vitali and Wlad were awful champions, and Wilder/Fury/AJ have all adopted and increased their bad habits: terrible contracts, terrible level of opposition, terrible lack of charisma... yawn

The only time 200+ has been interesting in the past 20 years is when a spoiler moves up, like Roy or Toney or Usyk. Maybe if this drivel was actually worth something, kings like Oscar, Floyd, Canelo and Tank wouldn't be the money men that they are

Real boxing starts around 110lbs and caps at 175lbs. Always has done; always will do
