Anthony Joshua's punching and knockout power has been exposed to be average at best

Time and time again and not just once, but multiple times, we've seen Joshua failing to KO opponents who have been KO'ed more brutally or more impressively by other boxers, some who aren't even considered to be power punchers / knockout artists or even considered to have power at the level of Joshua, never mind higher.

Here, a 9 fight Anthony Joshua failing to even drop a fat, 5 foot 11, blown up light heavyweight / cruiser weight in Denis Bakhtov after 2 rounds of landing multiple flush maximum powered punches. And needed a standing, premature, questionable and an illegitimate TKO stoppage to win and have his high and misleading / deceptive / false stoppage ratio maintained:

And here, we have a 9 fight Evgeny Romanov, a 6 foot 0, blown up light heavyweight / cruiser weight midget literally dropping the same Romanov thrice in just the first round with seemingly arm punches and getting a legitimate stoppage, unlike Joshua:

Here, Anthony Joshua landing everything but the kitchen sink on a 6 foot 0 midget Carlos Takam who was a shot fighter at age 37 and had already been KO'ed brutally a few years ago by another 6 foot 1 midget. Joshua landed maximum powered punch after maximum powered punch, flush on Takam's face who was at times, walking into those punches head first, especially in the mid rounds, where he was exchanging punches with Joshua. Yet, Joshua still couldn't cleanly KO or totally incapacitate this scrub in Takam, despite landing his most powerful punches, including his uppercuts multiple times:

And here we have a 6 foot 1, chubby, pudgy, fat, light hitting, feather fisted, weak and overweight blown up light heavyweight / cruiser weight in Alexander Povetkin putting a prime and a fresh version of Carlos Takam into a state where he is totally incapacitated, can't get back up to his feet for over a minute and can't even continue fighting:

And even Dereck Chisora here incapacitated the Takam that fought Joshua. Something which Joshua could not do:

Here we have Anthony Joshua failing to even drop Joseph Parker with multiple flush, full powered power punches and uppercuts:

And here, Dillian Whyte drops the same Joseph Parker twice, once legitimately:

If this is the Anthony Joshua that's supposed to be one of, never mind the most powerful punchers in boxing today. And if this is the Joshua that someone like Usyk supposedly has no chances at winning against because of his power, then that's pretty pathetic, shameful and embarrassing for Joshua. And the evidence is pretty much non-existent in favor of Joshua at this stage now.

Joshua has been exposed not just once, but far too many times to be considered to be that powerful a puncher or a credible and a legitimate knockout artist.

Remove all the standing, premature TKO stoppages from his record, how many real knockouts does this pathetic puncher have? Exactly!

What are you talking about? Joshua is the most powerful puncher in the universe!

No one can take his power .......NO ONE!!

Eddie told me, he if lands on anyone's chin it's over.

I heard Anthony Joshua once knocked out the Crimson Chin without even trying. His power is undeniable. He could punch through bank vaults with his freakish strength. He is superhuman. amirite?

Physiques are quite deceiving for some people. People see jacked guys like Anthony Joshua, Tim Bradley etc and believe they must have otherworldly strength... not always the case.

Great thread. The Joshua and Hearn bumboys will just avoid it.

Knocking down Kevin Johnson is still Big Josh's greatest achievement in the power department. Even that ended up in a british stoppage though.

How many of his fights haven't been british stoppages where the opponents stayed down knocked out unconscious?

    Can anyone tell me?

'Good' power is an overstatement. At best, Joshua has AVERAGE power.

Wilder definitely carries a lot more power than AJ.

He's definitely not as big a puncher as advertised or his KO ratio would suggest. I don't think he's the pitty pat fraud the OP is suggesting though.

Does he punch like Deontay? No. Does anyone else in the division really? Not that I know of.

Im a big Joshua fan. His power is very much overated. He hits hard, he has heavy clubby hands that thud into you and rock you but that 1 shot KO no attempting to get up from it power isnt at the level of a Wilder, Ortiz or Povetkin.

    Wilder is ****.

As far as I can remember, the KO of an injured, exhausted and clinically obese Whyte is his only genuine KO. Even glass chinned 40-year old Wlad got back to his feet.

Maybe he KO'd Matt Legg at Wembley on the Froch-Groves II undercard but Legg was a 9-fight novice and part-time doorman. I was actually at that fight but can't even remember what happened because I don't care for Matchroom hype jobs being matched against doormen.
