Based on NOW is never a good thing. It has to be based on then.

I made the same mistake a couple of years ago with Donaire. Swore blind he was the best BW I'd ever seen.

Since the destruction of Montiel and Nishioka his career came to an inexplicable screeching halt and now I am wondering whether he's even amongst the best fifteen I ever saw at BW.

I am going to guess that Galvatron is young (nothing wrong with that).

We have seen so many fighters who looked like "the next big thing" come to nothing, that we don't give out those sort of accolades lightly.

Based on NOw is not the thread topic. i'll assume my own eyes which have never failed me knows a lot of boxing and can give a credible prediction based on what I see. I wouldn't imagine my first thread would be so difficult tbh.lol

It is because we can only really rank retired fighters.

If you can predict the outcomes of fights accurately, based on how fighters look on film, then why don't you make a fortune betting on boxing?

If you can't do this, then wouldn't it be better to withhold judgment, until they prove it in the ring?

I am sorry if it looks like we are ganging up on you here, but you are making some assumptions that need to be examined.

You are ranking fighters not me. No one actuall ranked anything but me ,seems like no one wants me to say well this guy wouldn't beat that guy because this or that? lol

Only a few fights back he was on the verge of being knocked down and possibly out by another novice, very bold statement saying he'd beat most on your list. I'd put money down that he'd lose to most if not all at this moment in time.

I didn't, I saw a man stunned from a shot and hurt to the body. He looked like he was walking in sand and throwing shots under water for one or two rounds.

It is not that we don't want you to make head to head predictions based on styles.

We are just urging you to be a bit more cautious about picking unproven fighters over all-time greats.

well you were drinking then b/c he was literally stunned 3 seconds and Whyte was battered around the entire time. His punch count dropped and started to box afterwards.Whyte literally didn't win any rounds. He wouldn't last 4 rounds now despite improvements he has made ,molina will show this, two different skill sets. Whyte is also 6'4 240 pounds and a known power puncher, where do you see many guys knocking out Joshua of now who is improving?
