I called Janitor a freak ,but actually that is reserved for you,the real one. I would love to see your top 10 H2H heavy weights please???lol
He is "a work in progress",and by any reasonable standards, "the jury is still out, "and will be for some considerable time to come!
Joshua isn't even that skilled or athletic lets be honest. What I see is a big stiff plodder with clubbing power and decent skills. Frank Bruno had more skill and athleticism than Joshua, and probably more 1 punch ko power as well. Right now from what I've seen from AJ you don't even need to bring up greats to find old school heavies that would beat him. The thread starter is clearly trolling. No one is that stupid.
The thread isnt about Joshua seems like everyone is threatened by the man anyway.lol Bruno was slow and stiff what a foolish claim when Lewis former handlers say Joshua was better than Lewis was at this stage.Genetically he is freak ,former track and field star overall athlete basketball /football etc, 6ft 6ins and 17st of pure power, fast-twitch muscles that hurt.
1. Ali 2. Tyson 3. Holmes 4. Lewis 5. Holyfield Its a well thought out list BUT - bit candid about Tyson, seeing as his career went haywire after prison (understandably though). Good as he was when young, he cant be that high based on such a short, though quite outstanding, reign. Methinks Josh has grown up with too much PS3. Also I wonder if he would adjust Holyfield for his drug abuse, putting an abuser in top 5 is irrational for any other sport.
No It's not a foolish claim. The reason Bruno was said to be slow and stiff is because he was in an era with Mike Tyson. Bruno wasn't as stiff and slow as he was made out to be. He was more mobile on his feet and had a much, much better Jab than AJ. Bruno was definitely a more fluid puncher than AJ, his ko's were also more brutal than AJ's. So no it's not foolish to compare two stiff idiots. One being a bigger stiffer idiot than the other. This content is protected People forget ^. Look at Bruno's superior punch variety to AJ's. Ko's via straight right, overhand right, uppercut, left hook, left hook to the body, double left hook to the body. Absolutely brutal stuff from Bruno ^^^^ If Bruno was around today and he had more of a badass persona then casuals like yourself would be jizzing loads everywhere over Bruno's bum destroying prowess just like you lot do for AJ. Lol Genetically AJ is not a freak. Who gives a toss if he was good at football and track. That doesn't stop him looking stiff and limited in a boxing ring. Adrian Broner's quicker and more skilled than Floyd Mayweather on a basketball court but he couldn't lace his gloves in a boxing ring.
Bruno was not fast at all and lost all his big fights to stamina issues due to heath reasons hes alwayd had going to mid rnds with the exception of Tyson who is the only one to really dominate him . I could show Vid of Joshua too and? Joshua has thrown 11 punches in 2 seconds in one fight (yes very slow) lol ....You obviously dont know what you're talking about and sound about 15 , so i'll leave it there . lol
AJ rates Tyson number two mainly because Tyson had "big quads" and "huge pecs" and was a "beast". These are criteria I really haven't considered before.
STOP! While I think Joshua is the best bet for the future of the division, for now, he's very unproven. He did not deserve to win a gold medal in the Olympics, he was outpointed by Savon, then won another close one in his home nation. That's why he won gold. Before that he was stopped, floored and stunned by different men in a relatively short amateur career. While hurt, he did show some heart in the amateurs. If you ask me his chin is average, and he does not have the defense, survival skills or adaptability to be a long-tenured champion. In my opinion, he's too muscle bound and could have stamina issues late in a fight where he has to work. On the plus side, he's big, fast, skilled and can hit. I would not place him in my top 40 head to head right now. He'll have to beat someone decent and defend vs top ten opponents ( something he's not doing ). Due to the delay, I now think he will beat Wlad ( Age 41 ) in 2017, however, if the fight was December, it would have been 50/50 as Wlad was in shape and motivated. Fighters can age in dog years past 40, especially the ones who were in a lot of pro and amateur fights.
To be fair to AJ, he made the list up on the spot and ended by implying the order isn't written in stone except for his NUMBER ONE : Muhammad Ali, which is fair. Apart from Tyson, it's a decent top 5 of the last 50 years or so. I think Foreman at #2 instead would have been excellent for such a miodernist list.
