I've always backed Joshua to win this, because I firmly believe that when two guys with well documented power meet, it's usually the guy with the superior fundamentals and technique that lands the first fight ending bomb.

    And that's Joshua.

The only thing this fight changed was my views on Joshua's chances against Fury. At first I thought Fury clowns him, but Wilder proved (twice, no less) that if you take enough risks and let your hands go, you CAN catch him with something big. Joshua is a better boxer and a more accurate puncher than Wilder, but he's also no less willing than Wilder to throw down so I have no reason not to believe that Joshua has a damn good shot at KOing the big gypsy King.

In the UK, I think Joshua gets a decision. I actually think he’s good enough to play it safe and use his strength to control Wilder. Would the game plan really be to try and blast Wilder out of there? Seems risky to me...

    Agree with this.

Joshua may not be a boxer with great skill, but he's solid all around and knows how to make use of his physical advantages very well. He's got a decent jab and a fair defence and that's more than enough to give Windmill Wilder fits. If Wilder actually bothered to learn his craft he could be like a big Tommy Hearns. God knows what they teach him in the gym all day.

I'd like to use Wilder target the body more. First 7-8 rounds really target body, get some nasty hooks in and then go headhunting later on.

Wilder vs Joshua wouldn't go to the scorecards if it happend on Mars, someone would get KO'd without question.

Wilders getting knocked out. Yes hes got the power to KO Joshua but hes a poor Boxer and Joshua isnt. Joshua has flaws but Deontay is not good enough to take advantage of any of them. Punchers chance, nothing more. Its a hell of a punch but the round winning skill lays with Joshua who himself as a hell of a punch.

And with this strange and to be honest unnecessary weight losses from Deontay Wilder since he has had to be drug tested leaves more question marks over him than they do Joshua who hasnt changed since hes been drug tested. But then im a believer of if they they havnt come back with positive tests we shouldnt be accusing them unless we are ready to accuse everyone.

I cant see Deontay getting out of the ring with a decision either way in this one, AJ would sense blood and go for the KO after dominating a boxing match for 2-3 rounds.

AJ to win TKO/KO inside 8 rounds. He has the kind of power that Fury doesnt have and enough boxing skill to absolutely clown Wilder at the same time.

Joshua, but I think the pre-Wladimir AJ would have made it easier while the current version is too patient. Hanging back and waiting is a good way for him to get knocked out.

But Wilder lacks his dimensions as a fighter and I'll go with the more complete guy. Joshua KO inside 5-6.

Agreed! if Wilder had learn to box? I've seen novices in their first fight wind up like Wilder
