Anthony Jushua is a great prospect but he needs to learn how to fight tall.

I don't know if its due to not having respect for the level of his competition but Anthony needs to learn how to fight tall.

In the first round of Saturdays fight against Bakhtov, Anthony was getting caught with jabs and occasional right hands that he wasn't supposed to get hit with. At 6, 6ft that should not be happening. When a small fighter comes close, he should tire them up and not try to trade with them at close range. Ali wrote the book on how tall fighters should fight against shorter opponents. Lennox lewis modernized and fighters like Vladimir are having a lot of success with it. Had Paul Williams followed this manual he wont have gotten face planted by Martinez.

I believe a jab will determine wheather Anthony will be next Lennox Lewis or the next Frank Bruno.

He's young and I hope to see some improvement from.

Personally I think it's good to see him not tying up opponents as soon as they get inside, he's trying to develop an inside game which will be a refreshing change for the heavyweight division.

If he doesn't adopt a style more suited to that and learn how to pace himself he's going to be unnecessarily putting himself in harms way and risk getting knocked out. His jab and sense of distance needs a lot of working on as well . There is no reason why a big 6 foot 6 heavy should be brawling on the inside, all the advantages just go out the window.

Well if he learns to throw a good uppercut his inside game could become a strong point of his too.

    It will come in time.

At the min he's fighting guys he's supposed to blast out. We will see what he has when he is in a tough fight where he needs to be 100% focused. That's why I like the price fight. He'll need to be smart fight clever and really show what he got.

I think he said after the fight that he wanted to work on the inside. Should he have an inside game..yeah of course.
