Anthony Mundines focus on beating any Australian fighter of credibility, shows he, like his father, shows he feels he has had to prove himself in the eyes of the Australian public for his people time and time again. To him it seems beating 'Australians' (preferably White Australians) proves he and his people are 'worthy'. This is not dissimilar to how white Australians behaved vs particularly the English in the early 1900s. Native Aussies cheered Bradman as proof we were as good (if not better) than the English. Through his father, I believe Choc has nurtured the feeling that he has to beat Australian fighters to prove his people are as good as everyone else. He has always been motivated vs Australias best fighters. beaten all he has fought, or revenged losses. Its part of his boxing DNA. History would suggest Mundine will be at his best vs Horn. Choc fighting for his people to prove they are worthy. It is a little sad. There is no need. Chocs people ARE WORTHY. He has only reinforced it with a stellar career. Good luck tonight Anthony. Would not let me EDIT... "Perhaps half of the OZ fighters were past their prime when Choc fought them."
And guess what none of them had on their resumes? A bonafide ATG Hall of Famer. And Mundine wasn't well into middle age when he beat them.
