anyone remember the time when somebody of woods calibre was mentioned he was considered fodder. chocos decline has been pretty rapid. i miss when he would atleast make the bums he fought leave in an ambo. cant remember the last time he even looked semi dangerous. what a waste.

I don't begrudge Mundine for choosing the path he's chosen. His dad fought for glory but didn't have a whole lot to show for it at the end of his career or now.

Mundine took a few shots and came up short. Ottke & Kessler were very good opponents. He's a top level domestic fighter who continues to make a bucket load. Most other similarly-skilled fighters would still be fighting for peanuts or have retired with nothing to show for it. I can't really remember the last time Mundine took a beating in a fight.

Yeah, Mundine hasn't lived up to his potential but, then again, most of us haven't either. Most of those who take out our frustrations Mundine are doing so because they are frustrated with our own lives - knowing one's potential but choosing to take the safe route instead.

If you don't like the way Mundine is running his career why not ignore him rather than hate him?

feel sorry for what sally? he doesn't give a **** about you. he's got more money than we can ever dream about having. every one fights for the money. if they tell you other wise it's all bull****. i was a fan of mundine but for me it's at the point where enough is enough until he steps up again but pretty much unlikely.

Until recently it's been hard to ignore him. All the Oz press seemed to ever talk about or print was his bull**** brags of 'world domination' etc.

Thankfully he's becoming so irrelevant now days that even the gullible press won't write a word about him. As seen in the lead-up to Waters fight, which you could be forgiven for thinking had been canceled.

Didn't see his footy show interview. But it sounds like he is actually embarrassed, as he should be, with his recent string of opponents.

Mundine claims Green watches his every move. However, regardless of what he says, right now he's envious Green's got a title (even if it's a minor one), recently beat his hero Roy Jones Jnr, and has a meaningful fight coming up against Flores that the Australian boxing public are interested in.

By comparison, Mundine's treading his well worn path to nowhere, and he, the boxing public, and even now the media, are fully aware of it!

"I'm after Cotto or Mayweather" .

I think this is the greatest load of fantastic nonsense in the history of Australian boxing. I really do.

The only way choc is going to make Lt Middy safely is on a ****en drip.

Just the way he looked at the botom end of middy, I swear, if you stuck him in a paddock, the crows would have brought him corn.

How Boxrec has got him at No 6 LM is staggering in it's ignorance,,, or corruption.

    ****en garbage.**** :rofl

Boxrec ratings mean sweet fa pops. No one uses them, they are no different to a list you or me make up.

Very true, but no different to them having Green at number 3 in Cruiserweight.

i hate Mundine but i'm sorry to say he will pick apart garths bad spots untill garths leaking blood all over the floor, easy TKO for the big mouth

In this case I was just sticking to the man in question PJ :hey

But yep, as a matter of fact, until very recently, they had Paul Briggs rated #8

To tell the truth, you could finish up in the rat house trying to fathom this stuff.
    Whose in bed with who:huh

I dunno if Golden Boy has shafted the Ring magazine ratings or what, but for decades that's the one that I followed. It's a bit hard these days.
They have Green @ 8. Choc @ 6 MW. Obviously because he beat Geale but I can't see anyone on Geales list who was rated by Ring. Maybe I missed something,,or someone.
I think we should get Ippy &/or Nobbsy to do them.

    It's nuts.
