Anthony Mundine taking his shot at history

    Mundine has been a real mix bag, fighting top fighters mixed with a lot of circus fights. But mainly a circus.

    Overall though, I think he has done well for himself. Started late, had a few good wins, and has made plenty of money.

    He was never 168 WBA or WBC champ................(because Kessler and Calzaghe was the super champ at the time)

    Boxing isn't even on the radar in Australia, it might have dwindled in the US but its much less relevant in Australia. Mundine brought some attention to the sport because of the carryover of influence from his Rugby League career, which is a dominant sport here.

    Someone like Katsidis gets no air time, you have to be a professional bull**** artist like Mundine or Green to generate hype, and Green really only hit the mainstream because of his fight with Mundine in the first place.

    The average person is probably more familiar with Muay Thai and Kickboxing.
