Don't agree with wat leaDy saying but to a degree he right in terms of evolution ( men developed for hunting fighting) but I wouldn't say "woman can't leed" cause that's simply not true. And I reckon most households would be lead by the woman. Most men are weak.

    Agreed, and very true.
    Not even close. :patsch

Men hunt because of their physical attributes.
Leading in todays society has no relationship with hunting in the past.

You even covered it yourself when you said -

What part of leading in todays society requires the extra physical attributes that man has over woman?
    Again, not even close.

Some women lead, and some men lead, it's that simple.

What planet do you come from? You are one twisted dude.
    Agreed.

In my opinion, when there are kids involved, the man is usually the bread winner, provides the roof over the head, the woman is who makes it a home, so it is a combined effort, some households may believe the woman is weak and can't lead, these are usually the people that have trouble adapting to the Australian way of life and aren't open to others way of thinking

Mundine is a great choice for this organisation - I really beleive chocs heart is in the right place. he'd be totally against violence on women.

But I also agree - there are just as many women with leadership capabilities as men - its a person by person thing nothing to do with gender - as a guy who has travelled extensivly through Iran, Syria, Jordan and Egypt, and stayed with dozens of local families, even in the muslim world (just like the christian)- most women are really the boss, of the house.

Choosing choc to be a front man is smart because he is a well know muslim role model and for the small minority of muslims who see women as second class citizens he will have some authority when stating the obvious - that domestic abuse is wrong.

    Give yourself a wrap....

Big ****ing deal..... Why don't you tell everyone how many of these "Ambassadors" there are .....and how easy it is to become an "Ambassador" ...(anyone can self nominate.....only a matter of downloading the application form).....and how little time an "Ambassador" has to donate (if any)?

OK guys..... If you too want to be an "Ambassador".....Here's the info...

and maybe if you're lucky...you too might get an arselicker to give you a wrap.....:deal
    . The nominee signs:
    • An undertaking to not commit, excuse or remain silent about Violence Against Women; and
    • An undertaking to not bring the White Ribbon Campaign into disrepute.
The nominator must also provide his or her contact details and sign a declaration stating that the information provided on the nomination form is true and accurate to the best of his or her knowledge. The nominator will also act as referee on this application.
Self-nominating applicants need to also provide a referee who is willing to sign a declaration confirming that the information provided on the nomination form is true and accurate to the best of his or her knowledge.
To apply to be a White Ribbon Ambassador simply read, complete and return the attached nomination form to:

That's the point..... They didn't choose him.....They don't choose any of their Ambassadors.

Basically.....You either nominate yourself....or give someone permission to nominate you.

And provided that you haven't a history of beating up women..... You become an Ambassador.

A quick glance at the "Ambassador " list reads like a "Whose who" of nobodies.:deal

I am not saying that woman can't lead, they can at times and do, but just that at the end of the day it is males who lead more often because thats how it is because of certain reasons.

Humans evolved through battle. Problems at end game level are sorted no other way. It is men who are on the front line.

But woman are just as important no doubt. They do a great job with our kids.

Too many people toe the line and are PC. Cut the crap and just see it for what it is.

Ahh ok, i wasnt aware of the process involved, i assumed the org sources out who they want to represent them in that role.

Regardless, he still put his name to it no matter how simple and easy it is to do and how little if any commitment it involves. Its still a good gesture.

So pissing in the "The Pioneers" pocket is what you do for a living?

If "The Pioneer" is so whole heartedly committed to this program why cant he take care of it himself....seems very insincere to make a pledge but have someone else take care of it...:huh.....sounds like spin.....will you be speaking on his behalf at events, (given his inability to string a sentence together this I could understand) surely he knows how to pen his name to an application form, why does he need your help. You going explain to him the difference between striking a woman and letting her know her place in the society?

    A question that I'm curious about -

When people such as Mundine and Solomon Haumono change their belief's to become Muslim's are they doing this because it is the path in life that they wish to follow or is it because it's a controversial thing to announce in this day and age ? Plus do people like these two follow all the traditional rules / customs of their new belief ?
