In case you didn't know. This Wednesday fight seems to have slipped into insignificance for the WBA Super Middleweight title (apparently). Did anyone watch it? What's the story?

Yes I have seen the fight....Mundine won wide UD 117 to 111.

Nader Hamden has a record of 46 fights and 40 wins. He has fought some quality fights like going 12 rounds with Arthur Abraham.

Hamden had a good fight and the scores dont tell the story of the fight. Hamdem threw more punches and kept going forward all night.

However Mundine was way 2 fast and he landed more power and clean shots. His evasion was great as was Hamdens defence and that saved Hamden from being KO'ed.

I hope some quality international fighters chase Mundines paper title instead of more aussie fighters.

Until Calzaghe officially vacates the WBA, I don't think many international fighters are going to snap Mundine's hand off for a shot at his almost world title in Sydney for little money.

Mundine has to make the fights happen himself.
