Dekkers, your weird. Mundine near finished Green, some dude whose name escapes everyone put Green on his arse. Green has some ticker, but I've never seen him respond to adversity. Ever. Pavlik amazed everyone with his comeback the other day. It is obsurd to even compare him to Green.

hurts me to say it as i like danny but KP's response to being in trouble beats danny hands down IMO.I agree with eelsrules.

Those guys are good boxers, but they are not world class, not even close.

 

One come from behind win and Pavlik is top of the world, lets just wait and see how he goes in his future fights before we go calling him the truth.

People seem to forget how close to being finished Pavlik was, if Taylor had a slightly better punch, or was a slightly better finisher we wouldn't even be having this discussion. Danny Green is harder to hurt than Pavlik, i've got no doubt about that, I also doubt that Pavlik will still be middleweight champ in 24 months. Pavlik has the worst nuthuggers i've seen in ages, not since Wlad and Lacy have I seen nuthuggery on such a massive scale.

 

That's exactly why i dont think it was impressive, he was almost gone - when watching the fight i thought dam the ref should stop this. Afterwards he was getting whacked and outskilled everytime Taylor went for it. Taylor got caught by a good punch and it was over.

 

Some refs would have waved the fight off when Pavlik was getting pummeled in round 2. Pavlik is a good brawler but an elite boxer at the higher weight class like Calzaghe, Kessler, Mundine or Bute would beat him easily.

 

You'd think I'd be talking up Pavlik since I picked him to win, but at the end of the day I got lucky with that pick, I recognise it, it's as simple as that.

 

I thought Taylor would win easy until i saw the Countdown show on them and said hangon Pavlik is tough and hungry and could upset.

Anyway who changed the topic All Blacks KO France to Pavlik anyway :huh

 

Doesn't matter, even if they get by Australia, Los Pumas will finish them off, hell, i'll even avatar bet you on it :smoke
