The report on the scene says that Wood lost a point in the 10th making that round 10-7 Mundine. :huh

No, it was definitely Mundine who had the point taken. 9-8 round for Mundine.

Stick a fork in Mundine, he's done. What a ****ing idiot going down losing all that muscle. He looks weak as **** and any top 154-160lber would eat him alive. This guy could;ve been in the super sixes if he's stayed there, or atleast been a good fill in with all the injuries.

Mundine-Woods III will happen I think, Mundine won't turn down a payday against a bum, never has, never will. Tonight it was engaging, but what a horrible fight, if you can call it that. Did they sign up that ref from the pub outside the stadium or what? And the commentary, wow, abysmal, they must know only fools would buy a Mundine PPV now, and boy do they go out of their way to treat them like fools.

It really did seem like the referee had never seen a boxing match and had no idea wtf was supposed to be happening .:yep

I'd rather have seen Stieglitz, Andrade or even Miranda in the S6 than Mundine:bart

I had 94 - 93 Mundine. Last round got him the win.

Pretty ugly fight, Mundine really didn't want to engage at all on the inside and had plenty of trouble figuring out Wood's rhythm and catching him as he came in. It did look promising in the first round when Mundine caught Wood twice with a left as he lunged in. A bit surprised with the judges score, should have been a lot closer.

I still don't rate Wood that highly even though he pushed Mundine to the limit - I just think this is a bogey style for Mundine. Unless Wood can bring a truck load of $$$ for a rubber match, I don't expect them to fight again.

As for Mundine; he does not like pressure at all, and his legs seem to be a lot slower than previous fights (and this includes against Geale, where he also looked like crap)

Yeah, this Chris LaBate guy needs to pay better attention if he's going to be writing articles. :patsch

The referee held Mundine's hand and made a big show of deducting a point.

Granted, Wood had tackled him into the ropes just before that...but it was Mundine who had the point taken. It sounds like this LaBate guy looked away for a few seconds and missed what happened, and then just guessed. Very professional journalism.

Mundine was good at Super Middle (watch the Green fight), he was good to watch too. Just didn't have the balls to take the fights he needed to take (Kessler rematch, Froch offered him a fight). He had the world at his feet after the Solomom KO, but he chose to take meaningless fights, and he and his career became meaningless

Mundine is showing his age - probably why he keeps fighting limited opposition. He has regressed since the Kessler loss.

He's completely done. Imagine he hadn't ducked Golovkin for the middleweight world title, he'd have been knocked out for a month!
