Anthony Mundine vs Lucian Bute

Both of these guys where rated in the Rings top 5 for their respective divisions at the time that Mundine fought them. Further more, Danny Green and Sam Soliman are more respectable then anyone on Bute's resume. Bika and Soliman probably equal IMO, at least at the time that Choc fought him.

 

i agree with everything u said there the only thing imo making this fight close is that we dunno how mundine will go against a good southpaw
if mundine goes in there with the right attitude and confidence hed beat everyone at 168:deal :deal :deal

 

Who is fooling who here? When did Mundine become Marvin Hagler? Where has the evidence been shown that he has any of the talents needed to compete at the elite level?

Marvin Hagler... WTF are you talking about? Please post any reference. Mundine managed to thoroughly beat 2 top fighters, and in doing so proved himself to be a top guy in the division. In comparison Bute at times had big trouble with Bika, who is really a top contender at best. The way Mundine beat Greeen was far more convincing, and against a better fighter as well. We are looking at a match up against Bute here, maybe you should read the thread properly.

Green, Soliman and Echols indicate a very uneducated view on what is a "Top Fighter" is. How did I insult you, unless you actually drive a Holden and have a rars tail? Look Im not slighting you cobber, but realism is needed. How long is Mundine going to pushed blindly like he's a fighter of quality? As long as enough idiots let him slide to easy wins over bums and think he is Nigel Benn. Without a boxing culture, its going to be hard to produce elite fighters. Thats not the Aussie fans fault at all. But falling for a thuggish con-man who robs your money and sets a crap example, that is your fault.

Just think what you though of Mundine as a fighter back in 2000-2002 Bomber. And now look what he has done.

When Mundine fough Ottke he had been boxing for a total of 18 months.

My issue with him Lead Right, is that he rips everyone off and says some of the most pathetic statements. He has tapped into the fanboy wannabe ghetto crowd, and made them the boxing market for Australia. Regardless of all this, if im honest he has improved but he looks like a quality tune-up fighter.

 

Mundine has the Athletic ability to beat Bute but then Bute has the better boxing technique to beat Mundine, tough to guess. I say even toss up.

 

I would rather see bute or Mundine against Miranda hehehe that would be much better.
