So wait...just occurred to me that Mundine, a natural super middleweight having last fought at cruiser before knocking out a 2-time featherweight title challenger today, is chasing after Horn for...what, exactly? A crack at his WELTERWEIGHT belt? Mundine has never, once in his career ever, weighed in less than 153½lbs, and has only come in at the junior middle limit (barely, always within half a pound) seven times in 56 bouts.

I wouldn't say I was ever a fan of Mundine. I didn't even know he was still fighting, let alone winning fights.

Just an amazing athlete in that he liked league and boxing, in a country where theres plenty of league players and boxers, and he goes straight to the top of those two sports. He probably pulled off a backflip on his very first attempt or whatever that somersault is that he does.

Horn will likely fight Mundine at middleweight once he loses to Crawford.

If Mundine is campaigning at middleweight, can we feed him to someone like Sergiy Derevyanchenko?

Caught the fight post-mortem on YT. Honestly thought Mundine was going to get KTFO after seeing the length of the video and then his performance in the 1st round - he played with fire by not showing Browne respect and narrowly avoiding some massive bombs. But ultimately turned in a solid performance for an old geezer.

Browne offered virtually no defence in the 2nd round after winning the first round easily. He just stood there like a rabbit in the headlights allowing Mundine to tee off at will on him. Would have thought a fighter of Browne's experience would have a least attempted to clinch.

If it's not the tosser who claimed and reclaimed for months on end Pacquiao would never fight Horn, and then when he did went AWOL in embarrassment.

Hey flog, when you get hit and need to buy time to regain your faculties you clinch. It doesn't have to be elegant or sporting. You just grab the other guy and hang on until the referee separates you.
