Australians band around the pom ‘insult’ like they have the first clue what it means, if they did know they’d realise how stupid they sound when using the term. Don’t believe that ‘pomegranate’ bull****, POM stands for Prisoner of Monarchy/Majesty/Mother England, however, England chooses to be under the monarchy, therefore, they cannot, by definition, be a prisoner of it. Australians, on the other hand, positively despise the British Monarchy yet still remain part of the Commonwealth, who are the ****ing poms now eh?

That being said, I do like Australians and I also feel a deep sense of sympathy for them, for if their grandfathers hadn’t have been thieves they’d have been English to!

You just proved what I always suspected - you are pound for pound the most arrogant bunch of pricks on the planet.

Having lived in both places yes the quality of living is higher than in the UK, but the quality of person is not.

For weather, beaches and chicks, Brazil beats you hands down. They probably have better athletes as well but they don't have a chip on their shoulder like the Aussies so they don't feel the need to show it.

 

Can't we all like...get along?
