The majority of the Australian public are wise to him, only the likes of ashley and 20a87 who post here are still fooled.

 

According to Mundine and his depleted band of followers, all the big names have ducked him - Pavlik, Golovkin etc - and so he has been forced to move down in weight to find worthy opponents.

2nd paragraph.no not really some do since the second Soliman fight i have only paid to watch Taylor and Geale and went to my local club to watch the Medley fight.

Mandy is a wasted talent on a few levels.

Mainly because he isn't fighting a high enough calibre of fighter often enough.

And secondly because he speaks too much bull****, yet doesn't have the pizzazz of the fighters who are into smack talk. Mandy sounds like he has a mental disorder when speaking. It just doesn't come across right, and that makes the majority of the public dislike him.

The people around him all speak highly of him, however the jurys out in my opinion. Mainly because of the idiotic things he's said, and then attempted to take back. And also because of the way he disrespects the sport, and the fighters in as much as welching out on weight limits, mandatorys, trying to hand pick judges, etc.

A few think that because he's made plenty of money, that makes him successful, well that may be true to a point, however he could have been much more for himself, and in the eyes of the serious boxing fans.

I have my doubts that he'll fight someone worthy ever again.

 

To be honest mate, Mundine is pretty much off topic for the Aussie forum and is rarely brought up or discussed.

 

He is also loved & we realise he is the greatest champion of all time. Always giving the fans tough fights

 

He will fight anybody!

Mate, most of us are as mystified as you are.

The general concensus, I think, is that his manager, is just pulling the tits off the cow. Milking the dummy's for what they can get before he fades into a ghost writer.
They will then get a second rogering with his biography.

I was blind in one eye, deaf, looked like that Ugly **** they call Rodin and almost left for dead!.. After Watching Mundines fights many times on mainevent i have been cured! God Bless you mainevent and Mr Mundine!

 

he is finished at the top level of the sport now, he knows he can't beat a top 10 fighter any more at 160 or 168, so he is just on a milk run now
