Anthony Mundine's punch resistance?..

    And you're a nuthugger, apparently.

    So out of all the fighters that Ottke fought you don't think that anyone save for the 6 fighters that Ottke knocked out in his pro career were as much a novice as Mundine? A guy with six knockouts to his credit was able to knock Mundine COLD. I'm only trying to get opinions on Mundine's punch resistance.. I don't see the need to get so offended, unless I just happened to make this thread while you were on the rag, or something.

    It was an idiotic thread. You made no valid points. Show me an opponent with less experience both amatuer and pro then Mundine that Ottke defeated WHILST BEING A WORLD CHAMPION. Please, enlighten me. Otherwise, admit you were wrong, and acted foolishly.

    What does being a world champion have to do with someone being a pathetic puncher? I don't see Paulie Maliggnaggi knocking people out left and right all the sudden.

    I don't see Malignaggi fighting guys with no amatuer careers and only 10 pro fights either do you. Damn you get dumber by the post. You clearly made the thread with the intention of critisizing Mundine. It backfired totally, and every poster has disagreed with you. Leaving you looking quite foolish. Move on.

    Regardless of Mundine's experience that doesn't explain to me how he gets knocked out cold by a shot that didn't even look particularly hard. If we're going to attribute a fighter getting knocked out cold by a non-puncher to " experience " then what's the excuse for the hundreds of other fighters that have gone more than 10 fights without being KOed?

    Now instead of nitpicking at things in order to make yourself look more intelligent how about just answering my original question? :good

    He didn't have much experience going the distance. He was fatigued, with limited sparring before the fight. The shot also caught him square on the temple, hence knocking him out. The temple is the point where you are most susceptible to being knocked out, not the "chin" anyway... You have obviously never boxed before. He doesn't have a great chin, but AS STATED EARLIER IN THE THREAD, his chin certainly isn't glass, as evident by beating Echols and Green and going the distance with Kessler. Thread Closed. MOVE ON!!!

    Mundine has taken some good shots since, shots that he is expected to take.

    My guess is if they were both in their prime it would be Ottke lying cold on the floor.

    Could've fooled me. :yep

    I just think it's strange for someone to get KOed by a non-puncher then go on to take on quite a few good punchers and go the distance.

    I agree, Ottke is a crappy champ at best, who did well against a very inexperienced challenger. Prime Mundine would have beat him thoroughly.

    It probably has a lot to do with experience, and a lucky shot... Damn your thick. Slow as a wet wick as well. Think about it before posting again.

    I'm not worked up, I just wanted to illustrate to everyone how painfully stupid you are. Everyone in this thread had disagreed with you. You have accomplished nothing. I actually feel embarrassed for you, and the fact you can't admit your own stupidity. Well done. Next time you decide to start a random hate thread, try doing it with some people who don't know more about boxing than yourself hahaha..
