His style wasn't suited to the pro game imo, and he should retire with the injuries he's sustained. I'll say one thing, before his loss I didn't really think he had toughness or heart, but he took his beating against Cunningham.
Thank god he never got the Eubank fight he was pushing for. Could you imagine what Eubank would have done to him?
I think Eubank Snr would have caught on and instructed Jnr too go to the body like in the Blackwell fight too limit the damage, but if it was just Jnr vs Ogogo without Snr’s input then I agree with you it would be brutal too watch
didn't come across well at all but always sad to hear of a boxer being forced to retire due to injury
He had a decent amateur career but never really looked suit to being a pro. Shame always seemed a nice enough bloke. Wouldn’t be surprised if you see him doing some punditry on the odd occasion BBC show boxing ie olympics, commonwealths etc
Think his priority always was celebrity first, boxer second. If that's his interest he shouldn't be fighting anyway and as many have pointed out he was battered at area level.
Saw his bare arse on tv last night lol...my misses cracked up laughing about how small it was!! Never really rated the guy as a boxer but he seems like a good dude.
What a stupid careless **** "I'm not going to let a doctor tell me what I can and cannot do" How ****ing irresponsible must you be to have an attitude like that. This isn't about inspiring a bunch of people that they can bounce back from anything. This is all about him feeding that little unwarranted fame hungry ego of his. Nothing more. *****.
He will probably get a Luxembourg licence or from some comparable country if they deny him. But if he returns his career is going nowhere anyway.
