I see it as speed vs reach and power. I go with the latter. I don't think Parker has what it takes to beat AJ, while the opposite is true. Parker will (imo) try to put AJ under pressure, betting on tiring him and winning in the later rounds. I think the opposite will happen - AJ will wear Parker down with his jab and counters (80%). Should Parker completely blow his reserves and AJ get that "second wind" it could be a TKO (20%).

Half true. Giuseppe Quartatone is the ref but they designated one Kiwi and one Brit judge (in other words, both implicitly potentially biased for their compatriots), rather than going neutral with all three.

Anything other than a Joshua victory inside six rounds will be a massive shock.

    Why?

AJ should've gotten just a UD against Takam.

I am legitimately curious to know the reasoning?

It shouldn't be overly controversial to say Parker should be the second best fighter Joshua is sharing the ring with, nor should it be such to say this is the best shape and the most motivated Parker we've seen so far. Joshua has been past 6 rounds a few times now, including against someone who Parker himself beat in his first step up fight years ago.

No, takam was in very serious danger of permanent brain damage if the fight wasn't stopped when it was.

Takam was game but had been beaten up for ten rounds. The fight should've been stopped earlier, think the ref unwisely let it continue to avoid accusations of a British stoppage. The casuals still think it was early, wrongly of course but it still illustrates the tricky job the refs have.

Parker is probably better than Lucas Browne but in all honesty antipodeans should stick to egg chasing.

Well, whether the fight should've been stopped is a moot point for the most part. We've both seen the fight and interpreted things differently.

I personally however think that's ridiculous and that you're an idiot.

    EDIT: After rewatching the stoppage:

I feel good about saying you're an idiot.

This poll needs bumped up the list. Quite clear that most on here see a dominant performance again from Joshua. Wise men.
