Disappointed in Parker's activity drop in the late going, and in Quartarone's inadequacy. Joshua getting the nod isn't criminal but those wide scorecards were for sure.

I gave up scoring early on (kind of hard in a busy pub anyway) but I certainly didn't get the impression it was a draw. My gut feeling would have been to give Parker a few rounds, nothing more. Be interesting to see what people make of this. Is this a different scorecard from the RBR, assuming you did one?

Replied in the other one. It was an elbow that cut Parker

@CST80 did the official RBR, and had it 116-112 Parker.

British and European big fight cards are tough for me as far as catching them live, since I have custody of my son on Saturdays (US fight cards are easier for me to do since they often start after his bedtime) - thus CST ends up doing 99% of them.

People were clamoring to know my score, though, so I've put it on its own before it gets swallowed up in humdrum post-fight chatter in the main thread so people can debate my score and quote individual rounds cordoned off by post.

Fair card, lots of those early rounds could have gone to Parker.

I stopped reading the RBR thread when the main card started, not sure how people are able to watch a fight and read the forum and post simultaneously. I managed a few posts between rounds during the PRICEEEEEEY fight but being able to properly immerse yourself in the fight is what a big event is all about for me. Plus I was drunk by that point anyway.

But guess who swept them up? Identical to WK fight.

My father who watched this with me, was bored from the fight and complained how it sucked, had a more accurate scorecard then judges, with it being 116-112 for Joshua.

I pay full attention to the rounds, and quickly scroll through the RBR thread between rounds. You can’t read them all, but you can certainly get the general feeling of how others are viewing the fight.

If you give Parker ALL the close rounds a draw is possible, but Joshuas jab controled/dominated that fight...

The RBR comes into its own when you can't watch the fight. I was working during the Joshua-Takam bout for instance.

I thought Joshua edged it, a fair scorecard is something like 115-113 or 116-112 (with some help from the referee who stopped Parker from fighting on the inside).
    I agree.

I think this came up in another thread recently but it depends which criteria you are prioritising to score the fight. Joshua won this convincingly and I have not heard any complaints from the Parker camp.
