You'd end up with like 18,000 of the 21,000 fans requesting a refund.

So you'd had 3k in the 02 arena, and a card no one would probably watch

I seriously hope that Matchroom / AJ doesn´t cancel the event on Saturday. That would be a real shame.

Is it impossible to find a replacement opponent for AJ ? Are they asking for too much money ?

Brilliant if it's cancelled, all of the blame falling at the uncoordinated feet of that flabby melonhead, hopefully he's done now, he's an idiot.

    What would fury do ?

Take the worst opponent possible thats what.

Yet everyone wants to see AJ fight Hrgovic, no one else would take that risk....AJ did it before with ruiz, maybe hes learnt his lesson or maybe hes the only one with nuts in the division to take a challenge and he might surprise us here.

Why does it matter what fury would do? He's been criticized for the chisora fight and the Nganou

No the event will definitely go ahead. That's not a credible source at all.
Everyone talks about Hrgovic but I'm not sure whether he'd be happy stepping in on short-notice either. Mckean is a southpaw who he has been preparing for, and Hrgovic is IBF mandatory. The IBF are strict with mandatories, and Hrgovic will be guaranteed to fight the winner of Usyk vs Dubois next, most likely in January.

Helenius is better than Washington and Chisora in my opinion. He is a bigger puncher than both too and just fought on Saturday. Styles make fights though and I'm sure Joshua will take a few rounds longer than Wilder before forcing the stoppage.

Why mention Fury in a thread about AJ's opponent for this weekend??!! Makes no sense at all, unless you are trying to deflect attention from a possible woeful opponent

Take a challenge? He’s turned down the Fury fight twice in the past 9 months.

    Risking what exactly?

Zero belts on the line, reputation already in tatters after his Usyk performances and post fight meltdown, coming off a feeble fight against the very limited Franklin, not exactly short of a few hundred million - what is he risking?

A genuine World Champion would take fights against any of the current crop in the division.

The Whyte fight was a waste of space and Joshua now appears too mentally fragile to face any live fighter who lets the punches go.

I suppose Usyk turned the Fury fight down too. Not saying any of us know what happened but I wouldn’t be trusting a word of what Fury says. Calls out a name then fights a bum. Repeat.
