I think joshua performed poorly.

I think he got by on power, intimidation and a poor opponent. I think his chin is too high in the air, his floating left arm meant he got caught with too many right hands, he looks terrified when out of position and he can't tie up his opponent.

Someone needs to tell joshua that he isn't mayweather, he isn't tyson fury, he's never going to be "boxing finesse". He's a banger. He gets himself into his perfect distance with skilled, powerful, well placed jabs and stiff right hands to intimidate his opponent. He breaks them down, not outboxes them. He is a GGG type of fighter.

I picked Joyce to stop Dubois late, I like Joyce, perhaps his chin holds up, but I imagine Joshua would fight him similar to how he fought Ruiz the second time.

Regardless, it’s a pointless conversation as he will be fighting Usyk next most likely and I don’t see him winning that fight either.

 

There were a lot of street fights around AJ because he grew up in a rough part of Watford but maybe guys didn`t want to fight him cause of his size, AJ spent the night in a detention center for commiting a crime, he was no angel when he was younger.

 

AJ couldn`t beat Joyce the way he fought Ruiz because Joyce will throw a constant jab, AJ would have to up his work rate.

 

Plus when Pulev attacked J would simply with no counters, very gunshy, no way can he beat Fury without countering his jab.

 

Fury will be far harder to stop than Pulev, he is better at slipping and Wilder has more power than AJ.

 

AJ was worried about his eye getting swolllen in his corner last night, they put a mic in his corner for the radio commentary I was listening too and he kept looking to McKraken for help, no way could AJ have beat Wallin with the cut that Fury had, Pulev has not beat a top 10 contender in the last decade.

Literally every post that account posts is what I would post if I thought hard about how to wind people on a boxing forum up. I'd challenge anyone to find a single sensible post by that account.

 

Joyce has a seriously underrated jab
I can almost relate it to a GGG jab, not the quickest jab by any means but super accurate and sledge hammer like power.
Both seem to throw it effortlessly.

No one has ever out jabbed GGG, will Joyce prove to be similar against the best?

Probably not as good as GGG, but if he wins the Jab battle against AJ then i'd think AJ would get the Dubois treatment.

 

I agree except AJ is less one paced than Dubois and if struggling will turn up the heat he also has a beter reach.

 

AJ really didn`t look that good, I`ve just watched the fight on youtube and when listening on the radio the commentary team were saying stuff along the same lines as the posts above, Usyk will beat AJ if they meet.
