I admit I got tired of all these "Who's your top 5/10" threads lately but I think next week's will be more interesting :D

    Hahaha

Sadly, Lewis is an atrocious trainer. That is, in as much as he has attempted training. Look what he did for David Price.

Why would Klitschko want to train anyone? He's rolling in money. He lives a playboy lifestyle. He never seemed to want to box in the first place, only doing it out of competition with his brother. The chances of Wladimir ever being a trainer are zero.

I remember being burnt when I said the Parker versus Ruiz fight looked higher level than White Chisora I - granted that fight was more exciting but Ruiz vs Parker was a real boxing match, more technical and much faster

Yeah, I agree with you, but AJ had a full camp to physically prepare and Ruiz didn't so that's a leveller and Ruiz looked fitter, that done me mentally, I couldn't believe AJ was blowing out his backside after 3 rounds and Ruiz looked fine,

I don't believe AJ beats Ruiz in a rematch, I just don't see what he does differently in the sense that.. Ruiz is fast, knows he can hurt AJ now, he is brave, he comes forward and keeps coming forward even when tagged by AJ and hurt he was firing back, AJ didn't like that and wasn't prepared for that type of action.

AJ likes to bully, when he can't bully he isn't the same "AJ", he didn't even try and bully Parker for example but he tried to bully Ruiz after the knockdown and was smacked around.

    What should he have said?

"I can't believe I lost to this fat tub of lard! The referee robbed me. I had him on his last legs. He's good for nothing but soap!"

AJ was magnanimous in defeat, something he will have been taught by his PR handlers. Magnanimity in defeat means he will retain his fanbase for the rematch. Spitefulness would have got him nowhere.

Listen Wilder has a massive reach advantage over Ruiz and unlike Joshua is not conservative in his approach. He would absolutely destroy Ruiz from range.

To beat Wilder you need legit size alongside the boxing skills. Tyson Fury, Hughie Fury, Kabayel, Hrgovic. These guys have the skills to beat Wilder but would probably be shafted on points.

I love Usyk but even he is probably too small.

Joshua should win the rematch. For one, it's in the UK. Home territory, with all its advantages. Second, he will know to stay behind the jab and box as a tall man for 12 rounds. He will do a Klitschko, probably stinking out the venue and winning by 12 round decision, but importantly regaining the belts and, hey presto, the Joshua bandwagon is back in action.

I’ll rewatch it and could be wrong but those weren’t even square heavy shots that dropped him, or didn’t seem to me that they were.

Whatever man...I’m telling you Wilder turns Ruiz’s lights out in the 9th. Wilder isn’t nearly as chinny as AJ was tonight. Not saying Ruiz won’t land and possibly hurt Wilder at some point but he isn’t dropping him 4 times and making him quit.
