You weren't impressed by Ruiz's chin? It looked damned good against Joshua and this is really the first time he has been troubled, despite usually fighting face first. It's a different equation with Wilder, but could he weather the storm long enough to land some of those fast counters and subsequent combinations? Wilder, for all his power, is not particularly fast handed. Ruiz only lost to Parker, with whom he encountered a stalemate care of Parker's similar speed.

They weren't big shots because Ruiz isn't a big puncher, he has very good timing, speed and accuracy which is enough to put away someone as chinny as AJ.

Wilder hits way way way harder than Joshua. I can’t believe people haven’t realised this yet. If Wilder can put Fury, the most elusive heavyweight on the planet, on his arse, he will put Ruiz on his arse. Ruiz is a much smaller man. I just don’t believe he could handle Wilder’s power, not at all.

There were several that preceeded the knockdowns. Excellent punches from Ruiz.

Acknowledging the good business sense in a boxer's conduct is indicative of nationality?

This is odd yea, cuz Wilder is pretty damn fast for a big man. But he's more like a tall receiver from the NFL than a big lineman. Brits probably don't have any clue in regards to that type of athlete.

And Andy Ruiz has a much much much better chin than Duhaupas, you know a guy Wilder couldn't drop on his arse after nearly landing a career high number of 1000 punches?

He didn't look warm before the fight IMO. Just standing there in his robe, not strectching or moving. His corner must've had the same low opinion of Ruiz that Joshua did.

'When quizzed about Joshua's claims, Parker's trainer Kevin Barry responded: "Joe mentioned to me afterwards, saying 'It was funny, I thought the guy would hit harder than he actually did'.

"There's no reason for him to lie to me. He said that Andy Ruiz hit a lot harder than Joshua.

"But we knew that coming into the fight. Anthony Joshua is a not a one punch knock out guy, he's not going to knock you out with one punch, he is going to hit you with three or four punches and I think we saw that last night.

"He's a big guy and he has got muscles upon muscles but that doesn't mean you are the heaviest puncher in the world.'

Now you know why the steroid robot ducked Ortiz.

Ortiz would have put his lights out a few years ago before he got destroyed by Wilder.

Maybe even now he'd still ruin him
