It is a great late stand in and I actually called for Ruiz Jr as soon as it was clear Miller would no longer be the opponent. I disagree that Hunter is a better opponent than Ruiz Jr. as Hunters recent reputation is built purely on banjoing Bakole, who clearly mentally didn’t even turn up. I don’t think Ruiz Jr has the ability to move from the outside to the inside quickly, and back out again to cause AJ serious problems and win the fight. His best chance is counter punching when AJ is within his range, which is tough because AJ has the range advantage. Although he has superior hand speed. This should be a test for 5/6 rounds, then it depends on how cautious AJ is once he starts to work it out. This should be a TKO KO win in 9 rounds or less.
im watching Parker Ruiz again,Parker had a lot of success feinting the jab and throwing the left hook.I think Ruiz started quickly and had a bit of success with the jab to the body but noticeably slowed down
Not a bad fight for short notice if it's true. Ruiz has just fought as well so he shouldn't have any ring rust. Joshua TKO 10.
His diet must be absolutely horrible for him to be so fat. Think about it, an average day of training/sparring multiple hours probably burns 1,500 calories. Plus his maintenance burn is somewhere around 2,500. That's a total burn of of 4,000 calories. He must eat around 4,500 calories to maintain this out-of-shape look -- I assume lots of beer/junkfood and possibly sugary drinks.
If he got himself in shape he'd no longer be a heavyweight. His lean body mass must be about 100 pounds less than AJ's.
I don't give a **** about this fight, I'd have preferred Hunter, far tougher opponent. This one is an easy KO win for AJ, this fat **** might not make it out of the first round.
I think Ruiz can give him a test for a few rounds, then Joshua puts him away. AJ has too many advantages. Joshua TKO in 8.
