Fair enough, I'd need to watch the exchange again but I thought Dubois legs shook a bit. That being said, with how hurt Joshua was, it would've been a miracle if he could fully capitalize on it.

I've never been impressed with AJ.. not even in his rematch with Ruiz, or in his fights with Usyk.

AJ is the most overrated boxer in my life time.

I can't imagine being a career boxer and giving such horrible technical insight. It's just drivel.

Mate your boring. Joshuas resume is manufactured, old men and never where's.

Just admit you bought into the hype.

He just got thoroughly outboxed by the man the one dimensional Joe Joyce beat up easily.

He displayed the expected fight IQ at the end of the fight that he showed against Ruiz in the 3rd round of their first fight. Walking on cometelu open.

He's always been robotic and trash.

Bellew is in mourning for his "mate".

Absolutely pathetic. Joshua got killed today by a better fighter and he's acting like it was down to getting the game plan wrong. Dubois does Joshua 9 times out of 10.

He had already hit the deck three times. He was knocked down in three separate rounds and then a sparked out in another, he did well to stay on his feet in the 2nd.

I fear for Joshua he’s had a couple of these bad defeats now with multiple knock downs, and it can’t be good for his health. The worst thing is he looked a lot slower in this fight, he’s not getting any younger and is likely to deteriorate further more.

Daniel had his own way for most of the fight got a little complainant got hit with two good shots, and then sparked him out. I wouldn’t put AJ in with him without a rebuild fight.

I am not qualified to tell you whether he deserves a rematch but the facts are 3 knocks downs and a spark out, if you heard about a junior welterweight ex champion fighting a champion and then getting taken out like that I am sure people wouldn’t be calling for a rematch, more than likely a retirement.

It's a win/win for him. Gets a boat load of cash either way and is in the same place as before should he win. Doesn't matter if he loses because he isn't beating the Fury/Usyk II winner.

I picked Dubois by KO in the thread and in the boxing league at the top of the page, and was asked to give an explanation as to why, so I gave it. Also, you posted that yesterday, I posted mine a few weeks ago.:deal:

1970s was probably the closest. Point is this era of HW boxing isn't close to that, or the 1990s

The truth is that Dubois got a punch in the first round and then AJ was wobbled the rest of the fight and couldnt fight as he usually does. Even in this situation a walking dead AJ was able to rock Dubious really hard and was about to knock him the **** out.

The key in this fight were the 3 first rounds. The only thing AJ had to do to win this fight was not to let Dubois connect clean in the first 3 rounds. That's all. He failed to do it and he lost the fight.

I still think that AJ is a better fighter than Dubois. This fight has not changed my mind.

PS: thanks to the referee the toll that this fight has taken from AJ has been HUGE. So, to be fair, I still think that old AJ was better and Dubois. Only God knows how AJ will be in his next fight after paying the ridiculous toll that he has had to pay in this fight.

Dubois has knocked out AJ and Usyk now (robbery though). Definetly the number one in this division.

Welp I got this one totally wrong. That’s what happens when you have two Glass Jawed Fighters fighting. All credit goes to Dubois which looks like he performed a demolition job. AJ’s done. He should fight Fury after Usyk knocks him out.

He's an idiot but he clearly let's his bias take over when working as a fight analyst.
