I’m still trying to figure out how Dubois beat hrgy bear, he took some harder shots in that fight than against lerena! I’ve got AJ stopping Dubois in 6 rounds but wouldn’t be surprised if AJ gets clipped, dropped and stopped.

I think Dubois has a huge chance if he can protect himself early while making things very physical.
He's got a more natural build and because of that, can maintain a much higher tempo than Joshua. He also puts shots together well and with plenty of power behind them.
The combination punching of Ruiz gave Joshua fits.

Joshua is almost 35 and each of his 3 defeats have damaged him mentally. He has looked good in his fights post Usyk but who the hell has he fought.
    Franklin - Bum
    Helenius - Has Been
    Wallin - Bum
Ngannou - Not even a professional boxer

Joshua hasnt been in a real fight for 2 years due to mental fragility whereas Dubois is well seasoned and battle hardened. He's also the younger hungrier fighter.

    Dubois by KO for me.

I've put money on Dubios by KO. It'll be the first real test AJ has had since losing to Usyk, and if Dubios corner is smart they'd be looking at countering AJ whenever he attempts the right hand.

Both guys seem to have a bit of confidence atm and both probably think they can win.

Joshua by points or KO. With a scare along the way.

Clearly it's far from a sure thing and by no means am I encouraging people to place their bets on Dubois. There's a high probability that Daniel walks onto something early that rocks him and he doesn't recover from it, and eventually gets knocked the **** out. Although if he can work on that quasi decent high guard rock 'em sock 'em poor man's Mike Tyson approach he took later on with Hrgovic, walking forward both gloves up parrying the rights and countering over them with one twos and compact hooks when he gets in close, if he catches AJ with something, especially on the temple, which is usually where Daniel aims for, we might have a repeat of what happened with Fat Andy the first time. Because when AJ gets shook, he usually stays shook. Also, Dubois' stamina has looked fine recently, but there's still a question mark with AJ's, because which of his recent opponents have actually forced him to expend that much energy? Although Daniel cannot just sit there for two rounds like he did with Filip and eat flush rights, although I'm sure his corner is working on a strategy to deal with that, how successful it'll be depends on how disciplined Daniel can be early. In regards to the boosts in confidence for both men, AJ's is a somewhat delusional illusion, he beat a non-boxer on Ngannou, a shot has been in Helenius and a featherfist in Wallin. Dubois just KO'd the iron chinned unbeaten Hrgovic, who went the distance with Zhang and iron chinned Jarrell Miller, who just beat the living **** out of Fat Andy and got stiffed with a draw. Clearly DDD's wins are far superior.

Hrgovic did not have the necessary power to stop Dubois, who was inferior and better prepared than Hrgovic, which became evident in the later rounds, Joshua hits harder than Hrgovic...

University/college mind level understanding of the potential outcome.

I'm favouring AJ. Knockout within 6. Too sharp and fast on the counter and obviously loads of power. He's also quite a bit taller and longer than Dubois so he can time him coming in.

Dubois has a chance though, he can close the distance quite quickly (maybe he can land before AJ times him) and I think he can do good work on the inside with those clubbing hooks and uppercuts.

This fight depends massively on Dubois' jab. If he can land it properly, he'll hurt AJ with it, but AJ also has that great pull counter which is devastating.

If Dubois lands flush on AJ, people will realize again how insane Hrgovic and Miller's chins are.

Very very nervous for AJ here.

I favor him ever so slightly, probably around 60/40, because he has the skills and ability to maybe box his way to a win here, but it will be a balancing act, and he needs to stay a scientist in there.

This is one of the most dangerous fights of AJs career imo. However, the bright side is I think its coming at the right time. I think AJ is at his absolute peak now.

    War AJ.

Despite the odds, I think this is a 65/35 fight in favor of AJ.

Dubois ate way too many right hands against Hrgovic and he won't be able to take that many from AJ. Dubois's defense is very lousy and it's going to get him in big trouble.

On the flip side, I am aware of the sparring story. Because of that, I think AJ will be cautious early on until he can time Dubois and break him down. Dubois does have power and he can hurt AJ with a single shot.

It's an exciting fight between 2 HW power punchers.

Dubois is not a snappy puncher, he's more of a clubber, not good and countering. This kind of gameplan would be counterproductive as it doesn't take into consideration Dubois strenghts and weaknesses.
