Rewatching some DD fights, think I will ultimately bet on the under 7.5 here.

I expect these two to probably box cautiously so that likely screws my bet but oh well, lets see how the cookie crumbles.

Does look like Dubois has ADHD? Or is on the spectrum? Look at this interaction:

In my neck of the woods also, the betting lines offered for an outright Dubois win or win in other shapes or forms really do appear somewhat divorced from the realities of Daniel’s actual (reasonably calculated) chances.

Definitely worth a slap on Dubois who I think will look to unsettle the temperamental AJ early with express use of the head and shots targeted to below the belt line - fused in with legitimate bombs being thrown to the head.

Dubois has said he’ll do “whatever it takes” to win and he has apparently (stupidly?) also directly admitted to bringing the head butts.

The old story, I think AJ is a deserved on paper favourite but Daniel is a very live dog.

I hope it lives to its most ideal potential - a sock em rock em punch out.

I don’t really care who wins except for IF I decide to put some money down on Dubois - of course then, I will be screaming my tits off for Dubois.

I might opt for a group rounds stoppage/KO bet but the odds for picking the exact round are extremely tempting.

Dubois will get knocked out in the second half of the fight.

First half. You can't have non-existent defense and last against AJ.

Well, Helenius made it to the seventh before being a highlight reel KO so maybe you're right. I do think DD is getting knocked out one way or another...

Man I have it 75/25 in favor of AJ here, but that 25% is a very dangerous 25%.

What Im fearing here is, that the reasons I have AJ at 75% mean he would always win more rounds than DD, but the reason I have DD at 25% in reality may prove that AJ cant actually beat DD in a fight, because he can win rounds but eventually he will get caught hard and the fight will flip.

    Thats just my fear though.

I do happen to think AJ is tougher than the general public think, and I do think he can win a dogfight with DD if he needs to.

But Im slightly worried a bit that he will be hurt so bad by a single shot at some point that it ends the fight.

However, in closing, all of these are just fringe fears as an AJ fan, and as an 'analyst' (lol).

Overall, I am growing more confident by the day in AJ, and I do think his superior skills, IQ, and his quickness should make him victorious in this meaningful matchup. Thus me giving DD just a 25% chance.

The over under is driving me crazy.

AJ can often be a very tactful, precocious fighter, and while I do think he will have his opening to land fight enders, it wouldnt be surprising in the least for him to come out and try boxing his way to a win, at least until the second half of the fight.

Its not about if AJ CAN stop DD before the 8th. Its, will he even be trying to. Or, will he be content to knock out his next opponent while being ok outboxing his youthful powerpunching opponent.

I also think DD may channel all his toughness in this and wouldnt be surprised if he goes down a few times but manages to make it to the final bell if, again, AJ isnt wanting to go too crazy in there.

I dont want to bet money on what mindset and approach AJ will have for this, so Im canceling my under bet.

Dubois must be explosive from the very beginning and try to cause damage to Joshua who, after Dubois potentially threatens him, could fall into a mental crisis, but Dubois must also defend himself, I think the fight will be dangerous from the first bell, our obligation is to watch the fight and enjoy it, cheers...

I’m expecting a good explosive fight with a knock out. Dubois has faced really good competition of late and I hope it helps him as Joshua is the more polished fighter.
I see both fighters having moments and hurting each other but I have to stick with Joshua by Ko round 5

Exactly. I even call him Daniel "Forrest Gump" Dubois.
I respect Daniel but I think they must write him few sentence to not look like completely dumb.
How many times You want hear "lets go" or "Im ready, lets go".
This dude probably wake up with that word.

    -Hey Daniel! Breakfast ready!
    - Im ready. Lets go.
