I don't enjoy these cards, yesterdays lasted for what 10 hours?

The atmosphere is so poor, the gaps are ridiculous, something about them just feel fake.

Fight like Vergas vs Ball & Chamberlain vs Gwynne being held in silence with about 70 people just doesn't work for me. Then the Jack McGann one being burried on the youtube stream at 4.30pm.

Fury vs Nganou was a joke of a fight but Fury clearly made 0 efforts in camp and there were plenty of videos with him looking coked off his nut. That then led to AJ fighting him which was the fight Fury should have made it and ended the farce early.

Seeing everyone sucking up to Turki, and just a plethora of ****s like Benn smiling like cheshire cats. I think I could see myself giving up on boxing.

By the same token theory, Zhang whom destroyed Joyce, should really have had a walk in park against Parker last night.

Instead the same Parker who was knocked-out by Joyce defeated and pretty much exposed the man whom theoretically exposed him.

    Just saying...

that rematch needs to happen. The ref in aj Parker fight was terrible actually Cortez levels in mayweather/hatton. Whole fight a shambles and should be replayed

It’s embarrassing hearing that fool Hearn yap on. He lost 2 clear unanimous decisions against him and it’s unlikely he will beat Fury due to footwork alone.

Agreed and I think it'll be a far far better spectacle this time around.

Whilst he’ll have been paid a fortune, this foray into Saudi has been a bit of a nightmare for Fury. He’s gone life & death with a MMA fighter who Joshua then sparks out in 2 rounds, and his wins over Wilder didn’t age great when Wilder got easily dealt with by Parker.

That's the beauty of HW boxing. It doesn't matter who has beaten who it's a styles clash.

    Damn,

Just seen an interview with Andy Lee where he says they will never fight Tyson.

Says he'd have never met Joe and they wouldn't have had all the success if it wasn't for Tyson and it will never ever happen.

Fair enough I guess bit of a shame though.

This is boxing in general to be honest not just the heavyweights.

Look at how paquiou ran through berrera, Morales, even cotto and pretty much everyone in the early days

But Marquez gave him absolute fits even when he knocked him down I think it was four times.

100 % and it's not just Heavyweights, it's boxing in general.

I recall Shane Mosely losing twice to Vernon Forrest, who then lost twice to Ricardo Mayorga who was then knocked out twice by Mosley.

Similar to Duran beating Leonard and running Hagler close, only to be sparked by Hearn's who in turn was crushed by Hagler, who then lost to Leonard, who then was arguably beaten in the rematch against Hearn's.

If AJ manages to land the same right hand on Fury that he did on Ngannou last night, then it will be because Fury is shot, as he literally telegraphed it from a mile away, and still managed to land. He would have probably fallen over his own feet and fell into the ropes if he tried the same with Usyk, similar to David Lemieux against Saunders.

Wonder if we will see Joshua v Hrgovic next?

I doubt it. Think it’ll be Joshua v Whyte at Wembley in the summer.

Great win for AJ. Would have done his confidence a world of good. Let's not get carried away though, it was against an MMA fighter who prior to the fight, had only boxed once. AJ-Fury will be close, if it happens.

Hearn's master plan but surely there will be a backlash from the public for this non event.

Joshua needs to take a live opponent with some danger next such as Bakole or Hrgovic prior to a World Title Fight.

If not the end result is the same, knock over light touches and be found lacking again having learned nothing to help him when the going gets tough.
