I believe in the saying "may the best man win".
If Jake Paul pulls of the impossible (it's 1000-1 in my book), steps in the ring at beats him in a legit contest, then he deserves the credit. It makes him look good, it makes AJ look bad, not boxing. In fact, AJ's looking bad anyway, whatever happens.

AJ started boxing at 18 and won the World silver medal at 21, and then the Olympic gold at age 22, just 4 1/2 years after putting on gloves for the first time. Did that make boxing look bad? Most of the guys he beat in the amateurs were way more experienced.

If AJ loses to Jake Paul, that's bad for HIS legacy, and good for Jake Paul's.
It makes no difference to the status of boxing.

The idea that Jake Paul could even win a fight with AJ is insane really anyway.
    He's a 1000-to-1 shot.
So the story would be how amazing his achievement is, in that ridiculously unlikely scenario. Nothing else. We'd all have to bow at his feet. That's the truth.

I never said he doesn't deserve credit if he wins but it would be a big embarrassment to boxing if Joshua loses I don't see how you could think otherwise.

And then even worse we probably get Usyk vs Paul.

As I said I don't like gimmicky fights being involved in the serious side of our sport.

Stupid 245lb max limit is going to backfire on Jake Paul. Yeah, Jake, what you really want is an extra in shape AJ who is quicker on his toes, and who is pissed off from having to starve off 10-15lbs.

LOL agreed I really hope that Jake doesn't pull out and that AJ does him some serious harm.

It'd be like Ngannou having a deal in his Fury fight that Fury had to show up in tip top shape and not above 260 lbs.
