Casuals with no context on who Andy Ruiz is believe Jake has a chance, due to how Ruiz looks to them lol

Then I had to explain to him what a hat on a hat meant.

Twitter/X, whatever it's called these days, is full of the world's stupidest people who think they have got the world figured out, so posts like this do not surprise me. If Joshua lands the left hook that dropped Ruiz on Paul, then he is going to wake up 20 minutes later with a team of doctors around him. Imagine putting Andy Ruiz on the same level as Jake Paul, really does show how far boxing has fallen and how little respect people have for it in the broader sporting world.

I wanted to vote for Paul ahead of time, just for fun, but I see that 15 people have already beaten me to it. What kind of joke would that be?

Even a few jokers gave Paul points...

Seriously, Jake has great boxing chops. Not every amateur could knock out even the most outdated names in combat sports without a single major setback.
The guy has a punch, he has stamina, and he's a bit of a technical genius. He has the money and the time, so he can have fun with it. Why not?

The problem with this fight is that he goes from being a guy on Tommy Fury's level to a top contender (I think AJ still deserves the title) from a higher weight class, who is not only experienced but also relatively young and will overwhelm him with sheer size. I don't understand why he decided to do this. He could continue earning money fighting people at his level, and here he is, jumping into a fight with a giant puncher who has macabrely affected many a great name in the business.
That's why it's hard for me to even seriously consider this fight. If there's no agreement to treat him gently, Joshua should be able to outwork him by the second round at most.

I don't know, maybe there are rumors that AJ is completely shattered after Dubois, but I don't know what kind of health the guy would have to be in for Paul to even have a chance here.

If Paul were fighting today's Albert Sosnowski, one might wonder, but such a jump in quality is impossible. It's either a setup or a gruesome fight.

What has he done to prove he's better than most journeymen? Jake Paul is a good boxer for his celebrity/ YouTuber level but will be utterly destroyed by a world class heavyweight that's not holding back.

    Man, you cannot be serious.

Assuming everything is above board then Paul has precisely zero chance.

He’s a 10% chance of getting out of round one. If AJ wants to literally kill him, then AJ will kill him.

Again, all things being equal and above board, this is the single most one-sided matchup I can remember.

Ruiz could shuffle out of the buffet today and wipe the canvas with Jake Paul in one round.

Anybody that follows Boxing or even Casuals for that matter know,if Joshua does not blast out Paul inside four rounds (being generous here) then a deal has been done behind closed doors despite what the contract stipulates !

Yep twitter shows how many ignorant morons there are in the world. This is why I think Jake Paul is really bad for the sport I always shake my head at idiots who say he is good for the sport because he brings attention. The truth is he brings the attention of people who know nothing about boxing and he disrespects the sport giving people the impression that it is easy if you train for a few years you have a chance against anybody. This is why I hope that AJ doesn't mess around and just splatters him.

My gut tells me though that Jake Paul will pull out with some statement like
"Due to AJ's failure to comply with the contract weight Jake has been left with no choice but to withdraw. Jake has been willing to fight anyone under fair conditions but AJ refused to honor the contract" Then Jake will rubbish AJ saying he ducked.

AJ is a pro and a gym rat. He weighed 252 last time out; his max for this is 245. He's going to step foot on the scale at 244.9. Zero chance he doesn't make weight.
