Alright... this is one of the rare times I'm going to do this, I'm actually rooting for Joshua to win tonight. Because he's gone from being one of the most overrated on the forum, to now one of the most underrated on the forum.

To the people picking AJ to lose to Franklin.... What the actual **** is wrong with you, seriously? Did you fall down and hit your heads? I historically am not even close to a fan of Anthony Joshua, in fact, I may be his P4P biggest hater on the site. But now you're all making me feel bad for him. Franklin doesn't see round 5 against Joshua.

Listen really close and comprehend what I'm going to tell you.

AJ has twice lost to Oleksandr Usyk.

    I'll repeat that...... Oleksandr Usyk.

In case you didn't hear me the first two times, I'll say it a third time.... OLEKSANDR USYK.

    Yes, I'm shouting at you.:sisi1

Usyk is like Mayweather, there's no shame in losing to him, most do and will. So AJ losing to him twice, in the grand scheme of things... means NOTHING.

So not just anyone beats Anthony Joshua, and the mere fact that AJ-Fury and AJ-Wilder are still considered 50-50 fights by most intelligent boxing fans, tells you all you need to know about what level he's operating on. Yes, Ruiz beat him, yes.. I predicted Ruiz would beat him, due to hand speed, decent power and counter punching abilities. But still AJ lost, partially due to his overconfidence after he had him hurt. It's happened to countless fighters before, and will again. Regardless, Ruiz would also beat Franklin decisively. Not sure if you've noticed it or not, when it's a match that Dillian Whyte isn't enthusiastic about, he usually turns in a subpar, occasionally laborious effort. He did the same thing with Dave Allen, Robert Helenius and Mariusz Wach, which arguably could've been a draw. Now, did Whyte look far worse that day than he usually does when he looks subpar? Absolutely. Half of that is because he's nearing the end of his career, the other reason is, Buddy McGirt is a terrible trainer for him. Whyte wasn't being Whyte in there, he was attempting to box at range, and that's not a great idea against a guy with decent defense and good hand speed. However the moment Whyte stopped listening to Buddy, stopped dicking around and went for it in the 12th, he had Franklin reeling, badly hurt and all over the ring. Had the match continued another 30 seconds, he'd have probably stopped him. Yes, I scored the match in Franklin's favor, but that has more to do with what Whyte didn't do than what Franklin did do. That was a bored, passionless, lethargic shell of a man, half assing it, and he still probably did enough to get a draw.

The AJ that lost to Usyk twice, were the two best versions we've ever seen of AJ. He performed brilliantly against Usyk, actually managed to impress me of all people. That AJ beats 90% of Heavyweights, maybe even more. The only people I'd favor to beat him aside from Fury and Wilder, is Joyce, and stylistically, Michael Hunter, and my confidence has dropped as far as that goes at this point. And I still consider all 4 matches 60/40 or 50/50 type affairs. The rest get brutally KO'd. Now, do a few of the heavier handed Heavies stand a puncher's chance? Sure, it is Heavyweight boxing after all. But Franklin doesn't even have that going for him. He stands no chance.

Wilder handed out two losses with one punch when he brutally KO'd Breazeale: Breazeale and Joshua. It subconsciously forced the latter into an injudicious follow-up attack when Ruiz was put down but clearly not badly hurt.

I too want an AJ win: to set up the next fight Fury will duck...

I'll tune in just to see Eddie Hearn desperately call out Tyson Fury then for Fury to hit Instagram with either 1. pure insults to say he'll never give AJ a shot OR 2. A clear PR piece that shows they'll make this fight late summer.

But really I think Fury & his handlers have been taken hostage by the Saudi's who will make him wait for their Winter payouts...Fury having a year out is morally wrong though and he will pay for it.

Poor Fury. Everyone wants a piece of him. He just wants a quiet humble like a hobbit.

If more people had Joshua's mindset we wouldn't be looking at a potential World War 3. Straight edge fella who focuses on himself.
