How does Howard Foster even sleep at night after a stoppage like that ! He is well and truly known for pulling strokes like this.This was developing into a good fight but obviously far too risky to let it play out . Disgrace !

That was a good stoppage because Coffee WAS getting hit and he decided to continue his sparring mentality throughout the match, Coffee just doesn't have the mentality for a fighter.

 

Imagine invading India, but your ref stops the fight right away. You'd never been drinking tea.

 

Or the most blood thirsty, when it's the house fighter that's hurt....

I don’t normally call out the official but that was a terrible decision by the Referee.

I don’t hold with the idea of”British Stoppages” but this sort of stoppage doesn’t help.
Wardle looked short of ideas and/or the power to open Coffee up, reminded me of Dubois Vs Kevin Johnson poor!

 

He definitely was complaining and rightfully so. Disgusting from that referee.

He was taking that novice Wardley to school.

 

Even Tony Bellend thought it was a bad stoppage

 

Thank fook Foster isn't the ref for the next fight, he would have been lifting AJ's hand before he'd left the dressing room.

 

I think they all bet on 4th round TKO by Wardley, including Coffie. He seems happy with the result.
