He needs to get into some intensive psychotherapy, or hire us as hype men.:sisi1 What we both saw during those two losses, needs to be hammered into his skull relentlessly without fail, daily. Although I'm pretty sure most boxing trainers especially a guy like Derrick James, aren't the best when it comes to pulling their fighters out of mental funks.

AJ cannot fight on the inside, he holds because he doesn`t trust his hook, he tries to throw the uppercut on the inside because he trusts that punch more than his hook, he threw hardly any hooks tonight.

Only seen the highlights, but Joshua looked worse than I've ever seen him. Yes, Frankly looked sprightly and definitely was there to fight, but still...

We'll see if there anywhere to go from here. Saw he called out Fury, which is good.

I want to see Usyk vs Belly for all the marbles

I don't want to see that manufactured turd from Tuscaloosa anywhere near a title shot until he actually does something to earn it and when he does he can bloody well travel to someone else's backyard for it too

So Usyk vs Dubois, Hygovic, Joyce or whoever that dosser is right at the bottom of the list and I hope he gets brutally KO'd in his next fight and his career is buried in the dirt where it belongs

Same. But given that one isn't happening, I believe Wilder is clearly the next best option.

Fair enough. I have to imagine that you are in the minority. I'd much rather see Usyk vs Wilder than Usyk vs Dubois. You seem less critical of Dubois' ranking, which I find somewhat perplexing.

But Wilder represents a bigger event, bigger money, and a bigger potential legacy enhancer than anyone else right now short of Fury, at least as I see things. Plus Usyk-Wilder represnts an utterly fascinating clash of styles unlike anything else available at this time.

Even Usyk himself has mentioned a desire to face Wilder if the Fury fight never materialized.

But if you prefer Usyk vs Dubois, well - hey, that's your preference!

This is definitely no longer the Anthony Joshua who knocked out Alexander Povetkin, Wladimir Klitschko, Charles Martin and Dillian Whyte.
AJ's lack of aggression is evident. AJ wasn't going for the knockout win at all. Too big a scar on AJ was first left by Andy Ruiz, and Usyk sealed what Andy Ruiz started.
This was AJ's worst edition yet he won the fight; he was lucky that he was not a better opponent in the ring.
I don't think we'll ever see the old AJ (knocked out by Alexander Povetkin, Wladimir Klitschko, Charles Martin and Dillian Whyte) again.

I have no desire to see Usyk vs Dubois and I'm not making the argument he's done anything to deserve a shot

I just have a very strong desire to never see that have gloves won't travel dosser waltz into a title shot in his backyard, let alone against Usyk, coming off the back of two brutal (sans one round one-sided) KO/stoppage losses, in his own backyard because he was too much of a chicken to do once what Belly did x 3 with him and what Usyk does religiously, and a lone victory over glass-jaw Helenius whose resume over the last decade is even worse than his is which is really saying something.

Even more so after all the countless pathetic and fantastical excuses he and his repulsive fanbase made after Belly baptized him and after accusing Usyk of cheating too, a completely baseless accusation from a truly despicable POS.

I don't try and hide the fact I hate him, Rummy.

Yeah true! Obviously AJ decided to learn from his Wlad fight and not the Usyk fights lol.

Anyway, my 2 cents: It appears AJ has not been working very hard in the gym as he looked much worse than he did last time out. I was hoping he would've been serious about putting the work in but it looks like he hasn't. When I saw what he came in weighing, the alarm bells started going off and after seeing him fight, it's pretty clear that the desire isn't there.

I said way before this fight was even made that Joshua is done. He's fried. Finished. An accident waiting to happen.

The only worse scorers are the ones who scored the fight for Canelo, even though he wasn't involved
