At this point I reckon Mitch would go 12 with Joshua

Franklin has taken his career much more seriously since the Whyte fight now training full-time.

Wallin went the distance with Sokolowski and Brezeale. What’s your point ?

Just back from DJing, looks like AJ had a bit of a shocker against a guy with a stomach that looks like he had a baby a year ago.

He'd take a dive for AJ to chuck it on his resume.

AJ is what he is at this point. A fighter who only continues on because he is greedy for more money and feels a duty to his hangers on.

But you can tell he isn’t enjoying it. He looks petrified and you can tell he isn’t enjoying himself in the ring. AJ is way past his best and it’s a myth that training with a new trainer and taking on non-elite HWs to rebuild will make any difference.

I found AJ's performance strange. I actually expected him to look very good. He should be in his prime now and with the experience of fighting Usyk twice and the hunger he should've gained from those losses, I expected to see a fighter improved technically and hungry for the knockout. We saw neither.

He dominated the fight but he got caught with too many shots and he didn't commit to any attacks, throwing single shots the whole time and despite having heavy hands, he's never been a one punch knockout guy.

I always thought he was fragile mentally but I think he's pretty much broken now. His ego won't allow him to risk getting KO'd and it's very hard to land knockout blows if you don't commit stay in the pocket and let the hands go, which he's reluctant to do.

I don't like AJ but I take no satisfaction in seeing him deteriorate so early in his career. I want him firing on all cylinders to create hype for big fights against the best. At the moment he hasn't got a prayer against Usyk, Fury, Wilder, Joyce and perhaps a few others.

He's a classic example of a fighter who got too much too soon. He got rushed up the levels and made too much money for doing so. Now he's been found out at top level and hasn't the motivation to dig deep with all that money in the bank.

I forgot to mention AJ's conduct after the fight. What an idiot! The underdog, expected to be brutally KO'd, came over to his backyard and gave him a competitive fight, taking some of his best shots and after the fight, which AJ won wide on the cards, AJ slaps him on the back of the head when the man had his back turned on his way to his corner. Absolutely bizarre! When Franklin turns to say wtf are you doing? AJ charges into him. It's beyond bizarre at this stage. This is after the calamity in Saudi after Usyk beat him.

I never liked the man. Always knew he was reading from a script but his recent behaviour is a lot worse than I thought of him as a man. Can't think of many fighters who are so disrespectful after a fight. It's not like he's in long time bitter fueds with these guys. All very strange behaviour and pathetic really. We see guys who genuinely don't like each other embrace and show respect after a fight. AJ seems to be living on a different planet to most fighters and it's a planet where respect and sportsmanship don't exist.

The entire AJ myth was always a triumph of packaging over content. Life and death with a shot to pieces old retired VLADD and the rest of the resume stinks to high heaven at this point.

Ducked the top two his whole career then got schooled twice by a feather fisted cruiser whos best win at heavy is shot old delboy chisora. Pure smoke and mirrors career.

No excuse for it, but perhaps its his frustration coming out of deep down knowing in terms of the top level its game over now

He fought Usyk twice. Your hero has gone radio silent since he bottled it. And Tyson just went 6 rounds with a man who doesn't know what his own name is. Stop the hate.

The whole AJ circus since early 2016 was on the basis it was a show akin to 1980s WWF rather than a sport. A show where AJ comes in, fights a selected bogeyman and poses to the crowd afterwards. There was never a bigger example of this than the first Usyk fight where AJ assumed he could come in, charm the crowd with an endless ring walk, get through it and speak to his people afterwards. Even the loss wasn't so bad as he'd "three-peat" in a rematch.

That rematch going wrong is where the wheels fell off completely. There were signs of it after the Ruiz fight but losing twice to Usyk when he was all set up for the big Hulk Hogan comeback, brought out the real character when he realised the show isn't scripted.
