He's not a ducker. He's tried his best to get everybody in the ring and actually fought plenty of top 10 fighters.

 

I didn't get many answers yesterday...? One thing we can say for sure is that he only does it for the money.

 

I'm wondering if Cordina will be fighting on April 22nd...? How will he perform ?

 

I see Joshua is suggesting Usyk's team "disrespected him as an African" after the rematch. FFS, that's a new one.

 

I also signed for 1 year.

 

As good as Costello was on the radio, he's just as bad on TV.

Lots of things don't work on the DAZN broadcasts but I guess Hearn, who won't be watching them live and seeing what the punters see, won't do much about it.

 

It's a mystery to me that Eddie Hearn can't hear and see how hopeless it is ? He has hit completely next to the target.

I had 8-10 guests visiting last night and they all liked the female host who did a good job, but the rest ? Awful.

Some of the guests were so bored during AJ's fight that they made suggestions that they would like to see the female host with barely any clothes on

 

Didn't really go to plan did it. The ideal situation would've been an emphatic KO victory and Joshua to look good doing it. The optics of it being a previous Whyte opponent would then set up a fight with Whyte.

Joshua looking ponderous and hesitant was arguably the worst possible outcome. If he'd been knocked out - it's fairly simple. He'd retire and that would be that. Embarrassing for a bit, but he's had a very good career. Him winning vs a relative unknown and looking like he's regressed (despite the multitude of trainers he's worked with) further diminishes his star power and thus makes him even less marketable for B/C level opponents such as Whyte.

A Fury or Wilder fight will always do well - but outside of those two, I can't see many opponents will capture the public imagination. After last night, I think there will be far less desire to see a Whyte fight (and I don't think there was a great deal of enthusiasm about it anyway).

In addition, a carefully stage-managed week of Joshua looking sportsmanlike, magnanimous and calm went out the window with the scenes at the end.

Another headache for Matchroom are the Bellew and Benn situations. For some reason, Bellew is chosen by them to be front and centre - but his bias (in plain sight) is so obvious that even the casuals have noticed. He's seen as a bit of a joke. Connor Benn is much the same, people simply don't like him very much. He should hide away for the time being. People will be interested in a Eubank fight, but the optics of Bellew being so biased, seemingly getting involved in the altercation at the end (? why?) and Benn being petulant with the microphone just look bad.

 

Id still make that suggestion even if the fight was amazing

 

Wasn't that diva Shite moaning about not being next? If Shite doesn't get the bag next coz AJ either didn't impress or won't go over old ground then i for one am a very happy bunny.

 

I forgot to tell the whole story. 6 of the 8 men who visited last night are all gays (like myself)

 

I reckon we get whyte vs wallin next, not sure who AJ will fight in the summer though as I can’t see it being fury or wilder

 

Really good fight between Flynn and Baker on "Before the bell" but the ref. was awful. One of those ref.´s who loves to be in focus.

 

If he isn’t a ducker then his team most certainly are. He’s a mentally shot fighter though, just fought scared against a feather fisted little pudding who went life and death with shot Whyteleafe.
