This is such an underwhelming fight.

I know it isn’t Joshuas fault but pulev won’t win one second of any round. He might land a jab

 

No Usyk stepped down for this fight.

 

Let's all hope Pulev doesn't let temptation get the better of him and kiss Joshua inappropriately, and get himself banned.

I guess if it's consensual thing and Joshua was leading him on ... it'd probably be ok.

 

More likely early 2021.

 

Let's hope there is a good undercard with Parker, Whyte, Povetkin, Chisora and similar guys.

 

Joshua vs Povetkin did 1,113,000 PPV sales. 13k more than GGG vs Canelo 2. And more than Fury vs Wilder 2. Wilder - Fury made 800-850l.
And Povetkin vs Joshua sold out more than 80k. tickets at Wembley.
Tottenham stadium is 60k. so i expect this fight to sell out as well.

The problem with Pulev is he is old now. But there was a time, where he was very solid fighter.
Better name than Ortiz for sure. And still the question come, why Wilder don`t try to fight Pulev at some time, during his reign ?

Judging from the bodybuilders past performances after the Klitschko fight, I wouldn't be surprised to see Joshua stopped again. He's punch drunk

 

Old Wlad destroyed prime Pulev with a left hook. AJ should do the same against 40 year old Pulev, but faster.

Pulev is too much for Wilder. It's not easy wearing a 500 pound costume before fighting a top 10 fighter.

 

I agree with your assessment. If Joshua can't get a guy like Pulev (especially at his current age) out of there by mid rounds, it does not bode well for his career trajectory or odds against Fury.

 

OMG ... Joshua needed 6 months to rest up from running around in circles from a Morbidly Obese Blob before fighting Pulev, Joshua should be stripped of the WBO and let Usyk fight someone for the vacant title...

 

Not likely but hopefully Pulev was looking extra sloppy and pathetic in his last couple fights so Joshua would finally give him a shot knowing that if he destroyed his opponents easy it would scare Joshua who prefers 40 years olds on the downside of their careers!

 

Not looking forward to this to be honest, it's a mandatory very little AJ can do about this. Pulev is atrocious to watch.
